On any chain saw, the chain wraps around the sprocket from the drive motor. If you cannot get it around, you need to back off the tension adjustment so there is plenty of slack, wrap the chain around the sprocket, then along the bar, then tighten the adjustment to remove almost all the slack, then tighten the bar retaining bolts. (smaller ones often have just one plastic wheel to hold the bar.)

That part is not available separately. You have to order the whole transmission and the cost is about 140 USD, if you can get it.

Really sounds like you have a bare wire or a broken wire somewhere, maybe inside the machine or the handle of the machine. Remember, the wire could be broken inside the plastic wire cover where you cannot see it. God bless your efforts to find it.

Unplug the capacitor

First off be careful because you are working with an electrical device. Unless you are an electric certified tech I suggest have one do this for you. Otherwise contact the place where you purchased the new blade for instructions.

you destroyed the magnetic clutch relay replace it

unscrew the bottom of the weed wacker you may need small phillips to insert in the hole on top of the spool

remove the power cord plug from the wall outlet. remove the screwcap covering the brush, remove the brush spring and remaining carbon post. replace by reversing the above steps.

The motor could be burnt out. Check all electrical wires where they enter the saw. Could even be the switch. I feel you have to go on trial and error.
