1 cup of dry pinto beans plus 2 cups of broth or other liquid = 6 cups of cooked beans.
1 Quart = 4 cups so, a 17 Quart cooker would hold 68 cups of cooked beans (including liquid), to the brim.
11 cups dried beans = 66 cups cooked. I recommend:
10 cups dry beans + 20 cups liquid = 60 cups cooked beans

If you have no experience with re-wiring electrical appliances and if the cord is wired inside the grill you need to have a technician do it. Either take it to a small appliance repair shop or call an electrician to come to you. If it is a plug into the appliance cord, take the cord to a small appliance repair shop and see if they carry an appropriate replacement.

An easy way to lift something heavy like a fridge or a dryer

slip small rubber inner tubes under the unit leaving the air filler out so you can use an electric air pump to fill the tires slowly and evenly

Not sure about the temperature. Pressure cookers work on the principle of the steam + temperature, so you don't need a lot of temperature......I always turn my temp down so that the rocker/indicator is rocking slowly or at 'temp'. This will cook foods in around 1/4 or less the time you would boil them.

Hello, Karen -

Apparently model 169216 electric skillet is a General Electric (GE) product.

You can find the owner's manual for that model electric skillet here:

It is a PDF document. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software (free) to download and save it to a computer or tablet. Make sure you save the document using a file name you can find again easily . . . something like: Electric Skillet 169216.

Best wishes.

Hi the exhaust valve releases built up pressure created while cooking. There are 2 settings on mine. I have an InstaPot. When you cook on Pressure Cook put valve in closed posistion. Turn it left until it drops down. Food will cook for example, chicken with 1/2 cup chicken broth on pressure cook for 10 min then when done, pressure will come out on it own even with valve closed and dropped down, and food still cooks during this time. It will beep when ready. You can always open valve manually but remember it’s super hot steam and will burn you so lay a folded tea towel over top of valve then with wooden spoon tap valve into forward release and all the steam will release. Once this happens you can turn lid and open. You need all steam released either manual or automatic before opening lid.

If your book say that you can "brown"with it, please check!! Then take bowl out of cooker and brown meat on your stove top then put back into cooker then cook with your slow cooker! Note:only sum cookers allow u to do this, if it doesn't tell u it can then u could possibly crack your bowl!
