How to check lamp hours on eiki lc - x50m

It does have a lamp timer but it is only accessible at start up if you hold down several buttons when you power the projector on. Eiki only supplies the info to dealers. I will see if I can post it later from my service notes.

The lamps are not in correctly. When the old lamps are taken out, it reveals two very small lever type switches that have to be down for the lamps to connect and for the projector to recognise the lamps. These switches can be seen in the section in between where the lamps go. They are about 4mm. Hope this helps. It happened to me.

I have an EIKI EIP-5000 it starts normally but a

This happened to me. In the projector, the section in between where the lamps go, there are two very small switch type levers, when a new lamp is positioned, these switches are supposed to move in line with a 4mm section of the new lamp. If they are not aligned together with the switch and slotted into place, it appears as if the projector doesn't recognise the new lamps. Unscrew the lamps again, make sure these little switches are aligned (a very small screw driver could help while positioning) when refitting the the lamps. Screw the lamps tightly and fire up. Hope this helps.

Two things that usually gives this symptom. One, internal heat sensor will shut down projector if extreme heat is present, usually caused by dirty filters, fan failure, etc. Two, your bulb has reached its life end.

Hi The image projected loses the

Hello alaird2308,
Try to use a wider white board or screen to display the slides. If it does not still show the slide, try to move the projector closer a bit so you can get the full frame of the slides display. If that does not still help and it seems like the right hand side seems to be lost on display completely and is not showing on a wider board either, then it means the problem is from the convergence board of the projector.
There is a way to adjust the lens of the projector. Try turning the rim around the lens if that will adjust the display for you. But if that does not do it, then changing the convergence board will do the job for you.
Hope this information was helpful to you. All the best Elect_Comp
