A countertop dishwasher has a sensitive area where no water should get inside. When the door is laid down, the door latch is exposed. If water gets inside, the dishwasher can malfunction. Countertop dishwashers do not have reset buttons. Turning off and on is the only way to reset. The new dishwasher are redesigned so the latch is not exposed. See picture with pen point. The ice bucket is probably cracked we have had three that have all done the exact same thing all different name brands. Just order a new ice bucket. Breaker tripping likely from a loose or bad connection. Wire is getting over heated from not being tight. CAREFULLY INSPECT ALL CONNECTIONS. Including inside the disconnect box outside. Check to see if it is leaking water out from the bottom , also make sure that condensate pan is set properly
