Hi Christine, it's Jack at Dyson.
I'm sorry to hear about the damage to your CR01's coin trap plug. Both the plug and the coin trap window are designed to be replaceable individually if needed, but unfortunately due to the age of this machine we're no longer able to source many key parts from our suppliers. Therefore since December 2012, we've been unable to support CR01 and CR02 washing machines with spare parts or servicing.
You may be able to find these parts for sale from other online retailers, although we wouldn't be able to recommend any specific retailers.
I'm sorry we're not able to help further in this particular instance. If you'd like to discuss your concerns with the Dyson UK Customer Helpline, you're welcome to give us a call on 0800 298 0298. We're available from 8am-8pm from Monday to Friday, and 8am-6pm on weekends. Calls are free from UK landlines.

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.
I can recommend a couple of checks that should help. Firstly, it's important to make sure the coin trap window is correctly rotated into position (one and a half turns clockwise) ensuring the childproof tab clicks into place. Check the plug is also pushed fully back into place: http://www.dyson.co.uk/support/cr01/cro1-flowcheck-white/maintaining-your-dyson-machine/check-the-coin-trap-step-1
It's also a good idea to check the seal within the coin trap is correctly in position, and hasn't been damaged in any way.
Unfortunately if the coin trap or surrounding components have been damaged, we've been unable to provide spares or servicing for CR01 or CR02 washing machines since December 2012. If you'd like to discuss this with the Dyson UK Customer Helpline, you're welcome to call us on 0800 298 0298.
Do you mean the program stops working, as usually this means the program controller is faulty, a second hand one may be available on ebay or second hand repair shop.

An F11 fault code means 'no motor action'. Unfortunately since 31st December 2012, we have been unable to support CR01 and CR02 washing machines with spare parts or servicing. In October 2012 proactively wrote to all CR01 and CR02 owners that we'd interacted with within the last 3 years to make them aware of this.

The f18 code that pops up in these models is related to the "contra-rotating" mode unique to this line. This mode is very tough on the gears and drum and they end up binding. The only "real" fix is a new drum assembly, which dyson has run out of for service parts. You can run the washer without using the contra-rotate mode and the unit will not act up. Other than replacing a no longer available part, some owners have found that by washing some oil-soaked articles (such as shop rags or towels drenched in motor oil), the offending parts binding issue can be lubricated away for quite some time. When the f18 error returns, they just wash some more oil into the problem area to make it disappear again. Don't know if they are all the same, but I remove mine by sliding a putty knife in between the top and the front panel about 6 inches in (should feel something stopping the knife on both sides) push the putty knife against it hard and the metal clip holding front panel on should come off.
Hi Sue, it's Jack at Dyson.
An F4 fault code means 'inner door opening'. Unfortunately since 31st December 2012, we have been unable to support CR01 and CR02 washing machines with spare parts or servicing. In October 2012 proactively wrote to all CR01 and CR02 owners that we'd interacted with within the last 3 years to make them aware of this.
