The toaster is only cooking on one side

u have a broken element on one side. You may be able to look inside and see the broken element. If not take the ends off it may be there. No matter it is a broken element. Keep looking for the broken element it may be slightly tacked to each broken end but not good enough to allow enough current to pass through.

Dualit Toaster on light blinks

Most of the time it is indicating something is wrong. What? could be a thermostat, an overheating sensor, bad cabling inside, or just the element.

I have an old Dualit Vario 3 Slices toaster. It has not been serviced for many years and needs a thorough inspection. Is there anywhere in Adelaide, South Australia, where this can be done?

I haven't been in Adelaide since 1988. Until you find a place to service it, try this. Unplug the toaster, turn it upside down over the sink or a sheet of newspaper, shake it a little bit to get rid of crumbs. Do this about 3 times or until no more particles come out. It is best not to stick anything inside except slices of bread. Good on ya. I hope your weather is beautiful, we are at -11 degrees Celsius tonight here in Canada. P.S. I low the pink Galahs.

How to polish the outside of a dualit toaster

To clean the outside of a dualit toaster? If it is plastic, I would use soap and hot water. Only with a wash cloth any other (such as a scrapers, scouring pad, sos pad) are to hard on the plastic and will leave scrap marks. If it's an aluminum toaster I would use a cleanser like (aluminum cream or spray) to clean it. And the toaster will look like new.

How to clean the inside of a toaster

Slide the bottom door under the toaster and it will open, I would suggest doing it over a waste can or sink. You can take a small thin brush and get the crumbs out. Then your toaster will be back in working order. Crumbs that are stuck in the bottom of the tray is what causes it to burn the toast.

How to clean T-FAL toaster

Hi Anonymous The toaster has a removable tray that unclips at the botton for easy cleaning. If you have a stainless steel toaster and are enquiring about cleaning the surface use a soft clean cloth dampened with water and wipe it down regularly ONLY WHEN THE SURFACE IS COLD. If the surface is scratched you can try a stainless steel cleaner. Hope this helps Kind regards
