check your wires and if those are fine your amp has a problem. could be a number of things inside the amp. sell it on ebay and buy a new one. could get $10-$30 for it if its not a crap amp

You must get the wires to the sub's terminals. Drill it and silicone the wire trough the hole or get a terminal connection to put in the box, hook the sub to the internal side, the wires from the amp to the box on the exterior side. Looks cleaner but it's a bigger home, little extra work and a little extra $

Dual is a brand that has had serious issues with Quality. I Sorry to inform you of that but I used to buy and sell stereo for over 20 years professionally and I bought their first line of dvd players about 12 or more and had to send everyone back to mfg for several problems.your problem (if it is a flip motorized screen ) is the ribbon cable is bad but if you don't have a lot invested and can't get your money back I suggest Planet Audio for a less expensive brand. I'm guessing ur subs are 4ohms by the way

for stereo wiring, you get the most power with dual 2 ohm loads, in mono, you want a single 4 ohm load, or 2x2 ohm loads

check to see if there is a circuit breaker on the wire path from your batteries. Could have blown the motor but You would see some smoke more than likely, and smell it burning. What you described with the popping sounds like an electrical short where the wires just burned up but again you'd smell it and maybe see smoke. The switch may be bad also check it with a meter to see it its making contact and see if voltage is coming up to and exiting the switch.

I have an 04 camry , it did the same thing. All I did was disconnect the orange wire thats from your radio. And that should work hopefully like mines

Plug your rca terminals to the rear speaker outputs left n right

Your rca plugs (red n white) needs to be connected to the rear speakers output left n right. Hope that helps

BATTERY DISCONNECT CUT OFF KILL SWITCH 12 VOLT KEY there is nothing that I am aware of that is automatic when you turn the ignition off or on. They do sell these simple manuel ones however.
