Is it via an app? Delete the App, reboot the phone. Re-download the app and set it up again. It is a connectivity issue to the MAC Address of the box..

To configure the DVR from a remote location you can do it one of two ways:
Create a vpn connection through your router if it supports it or an external units to the remote location. This will make the remote location appear to be local to the dvr.

You can also setup the dvr's internal IP and port on your router through port forwarding. This way certain network access or traffic will be passed directly to the dvr from outside your local network.

Check the monitor first to be sure it has not failed. Use another monitor or a flashlight against the screen of the one you have to verify there is no image.

Just reduce the frame rate slightly on each camera or the record quality and it will increase the data retention period.

To view your DVR remotely through the internet web interface, you must properly set your ActiveX controls in Internet Explorer. First - Make sure you are not connected to or ar tying to connect to the DVR! Close the Browser and open a new one if you have to. In your Internet Explorer browser, select the Tools drop-down menu above, and choose Internet Options. Choose the Security tab in the corresponding pop-up window that comes up.
