How much are old Disney VHS tapes really worth?

A quick search of the sold listings actually reveals that although the tapes are being priced in the hundreds and thousands of pounds, in reality they are only selling for a couple of quid.

Can u explain how to

The digital box should have a round threaded output connector on its back panel. These are usually marked "OUT TO TV" or "RF OUT" or something similar. There may also be a slide switch nearby to select channel 3 or 4 output to the TV. On some boxes the output channel selection is through and on-screen menu. You only need to connect the output of the digital box to the TV's antenna connector, then tune the TV to channel 3 or 4 depending on the box setting. Leave the TV on that channel all the time and do your channel changing on your digital box using its remote control.

If your TV has an AV input for connecting a device like a VCR or DVD player, you can probably connect the digital box that way. Most boxes provide stereo audio and video outputs, and you will get a clearer picture and sound if your TV has the input jacks. If your TV is not stereo and has just a single white input jack for audio (instead of red and white ones for stereo right and left), you'll need a Y-adapter to join the audio outputs from the box together to feed into the TV.

On the off chance you have a digital box with no RF output (I've never seen one since they need to work with older TV sets, but I don't know evey model), and your TV doesn't have AV inputs, you need an RF converter. The converter takes the audio and video signals from the digital box and generates the channel 3 or 4 TV signal that your set can pick up with its tuner. You can find RF converters at larger retailers and online.

Does a universal remote work on the Cars Disney DVD player Ramone version? Does anyone know who makes it or the code?

No I really doubt that the remote would be capable of operating that device, they are made mostly for TV and related equipment like DVD players and such.

I have a disney princess tv with the detachable speakers on top but i get no volume. Does anyone know why this is happening? How i cud fix it?

Check whether the audio is muted by accidental press at remote control button. Enter its sound menu, and check it. If muted, as you know there will be no audio output. If not muted, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Can not get universal remote to work with Disney tv/dvd combo

To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

Tv wont turn on

Had the same issue. The biggest task was figuring out how to take the TV apart. Two screws at the top, three each on the tires which I gently pried off with a flat screwdriver using the center of the wheel to pry from, two screws that were hidden under the tires and the two screws at the video plugs at the back. Next remove the circuit board by removing the 4 screws. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL AS HIGH VOLTAGE IS STILL PRESENT WITHOUT BEING PLUGGED IN!. If you do this carefully you wont have to unplug all the plugs. If you do have to remove them mark each one with a colored marker marking the board and the plug. This helps when you have to plug everything back in. Now looking under the back of the board the tall black high Voltage transformer that has the red wire going to the TV tube has really poor solder connections. I found three cracked. I re-soldered all ten of the pins. Plugged everything back in and now it works.
