Im trying to hook my denon stereo to my tv... can you help me??
What inputs does the TV have?
Otherwise experiment with these options:
DENON---------->>-------TV
Stereo jackplug phones out->>-RCA phono inputs.
RCA phono outputs->>-RCA phono inputs.
Stereo jackplug->>-AV.RF converter RCA phono inputs->>-ANT.in.
RCA phono outputs->>-AV.RF converter RCA phono inputs->>-ANT.in.
130Hz Crossover frequency for Center Channel Speaker
You could buy a different receiver that has the option of setting very specific crossover points. That crossover point of 130 vs 120 is not going to make much difference at all unless you really like your music loud. If you are driving expensive ML speakers, you really should (in my professional opinion) be running separate components anyway; i.e. tuner>>headphone preamp>phono preamp> amp>speakers (unless the ML's are powered, then eliminate the amp). I don't know what video box component to add in to give you the video capabilities of the Denon, as I'm an audio guy. Maybe a component AV tuner with all the Dolby/DTS stuff built into it?
They guys at ML will probably tell you the difference between 120 and 130 will be minimal as well.
AVR-1912 & no subwoofer
It sounds like the sub has an auto power mode, hence why it switches to red (off), so your system will not detect it. If there is any control to switch it on all the time do so and try it again. It must be green all the time during the test.
How can I fix my denon avr-5800 receiver?. it blew when I connected to 240v instead of 120v
Highly unlikely you can fix it. An overvoltage like that at the least fried the power transformer inside. If on the off chance nothing leaked through to the circuit board while the transformer was literally melting down (the windings) inside, if you could get the part and swap it, maybe it would work again.
The risk of that is another failure even at the right voltage because it is more likely the protective circuits were also fried, along with most of the logic chips and other things.
I assume there was a bang and some smoke or at least a good amount of acrid smoke. That usually is a sign of 'toast'. Very likely it would be cost ineffective to repair.
