If I am reading this right. You have one single handle that controls the temp and flow in your shower, correct? This being the case and you cannot adjust the HOT down enough with the handle. CAN YOU SPIN THE BLADE WHEN THE SAW IS NOT RUNNING , CHECK TO SEE IF THE MOTOR TURNS WHEN YOU DO THIS . IF IT SPINS YOU NEED TO RETIGHTEN THE BOLTS HOLDING THE BLADE IN PLACE CHECK THE DRIVE BELT IF IT HAS ONE FITTED.

Are you locking the blade and/or shaft to keep IT from spinning, whilst trying to turn the nut?
