Delonghi Magnifica comes up with waste tray full light when there is nothing in the tray. It doesn't make coffee, the grinder is rotating and appears to be clear. Could there be a blockage below the grinder, if so how do I access it.

Thanks globalautomo!! It sure looked clean but upon further inspection the tiny hole was not. Boiled it just like you said and immediately it works like it should. My wife is grateful!

The 'o' rings that come on the steam wand at purchase are rubbish. They come off easily without you even noticing when you remove the parts for cleaning after each frothing. The replacement o rings from DeLonghi do the same thing. I eventually went to my local coffee machine repair shop and got an o ring from them. It has never come off in the year and a half since. . . . . and I have no problems with my Magnification S. Now I LOVE my coffee machine!!!!!!

Dod you close the valve for the steam to escape and is there enough milk in the frother compartment?

This means that the thermocouple inside the machine is probably broken and needs to be replaced. Please contact Delonghi for this.

Probably something is wrong in the mainboard of the coffee maker. Please take up contact with delonghi themselves.

The problem is not the main board, but the motor of the machine. This one is pulling a short circuit when it's spinning. Please replace this.

Your idea should be correct. Check all the wiring of the sensor when you removed the top of the machine. The sensor should be there somewhere underneath. If the wires are correct and the rest is not working properly, please contact delonghi for a spare part

Make sure that he floater in the water tank is loose and moving. If that is so, then the machine will register again that the water bucket is there and filled.

It sounds like the machine is broken and needs to be returned to the retailer. You are still in warranty for this.

This indicates that there is a bursted pipe somewhere in the machine. If you have warranty still on it, bring it to the retailer. If do no not have any warranty left on it, try to find the broken pipe yourself. CAUTION! This is dangerous and you can get an electric shock or even electrocute yourself when you open these machines for repair. Please visit a repairshop if you dont want to replace it yet.

It seems to be the one way valve which is broken. You can buy those from ebay by looking for "one way valve" Since this is an advanced repair, I can't tell you everything in case of damage done to yourself while trying to repair the machine.
