It was a bum tv. Dell paid a class action suit over it. You need a new tv. Sorry.

This was a product malfunction with that TV. Dell ended up paying out $$ in a class action suit over this product...I think I got a check for like $30 in the end. There is no fix I was told...but try to toggle the master switch, or unplug and plug in again - that often times worked for me. In the end I bought a new tv though because the frustration level was too much.

Old tube-type tv?...check H/O (Horiz/Output) transistor for internal short or burnt signs around it. Hope that helps.

According to a couple of people I have conferred with, that RAM should work. Take a stick of the old ram out and make sure the the cut out, in the new RAM, is in the exact place as the old sticks. It cannot be off by a micron, or it will not fit. try changing your settings all back to stereo mode and turning off all audio extras,also try changing the cable,give the ends a good blow,sometimes bits of dust can stop certain pins from connecting correctly. 9 times out of 10 they are normally solve the problem,if not then it could be a circuit board problem.
