This seems like at cables have gone bad or either the connections in the speakers went bad. Its best to replace them unless you know how to disassemble and re-soder the connections.

Try reinstalling both the Intel and AMD drivers. Then run the ePSA/Diagnostics test again to confirm if the same error code comes up.

I did not use compresed air. I actually opened up the fan -- its accessible from under the keyboard and there was a ton of dust that was matted down on the cooling fins (looked like the lint screen in the dryer). I cleaned it out and all works well again.

First thing to do is make sure all the RAM and other connections are good and try again. IF the issue persists, take things out, remove everything but the monitor and see if you can see the POST screen, then power it off and put in the RAM and try again, then do the hard disk etc, You may be able to narrow it down that way.

I will attempt to tackle your problem, however, I am uncertain if you need to bypass the bios password or the login password to windows operating system. Some hard drives also have passwords but from your question it seems to be one of the former 2. If it is a bios password or a windows login you can google Hiren's boot CD 15.2 restored v 1.1 DVD Proteus.ISO and follow the directions for creating a Bootable USB or burn it to DVD with any .ISO image burner like roxio or download image's free. At start up you may have to press esc or f-11 or f-12 to get the boot menu, choose the device that the boot CD is on by using the arrows on the keyboard, highlight the device and press enter, you will get the menu from the CD, depending on your issue , bios password you must go into dos mode, if login to windows you can enter either dos or mini windows xp or mini windows 7 and follow the instructions to remove or reset the passwords.
Yes......give me your service tag number and I will generate the password for you, I have the factory service tag to password have a bios password lock. If you also run into a windows password the horns CD will help you.

Well i could recommend another free video player instead of Windows Media Player 11. In this case, try installing Real Alternative, VLC, GoomPlayer all lf them support DVDs format.

I recommend Real Alternative over all 3 of them, to get it go here:
1) and click on the "Download (mirror)".
2) after download is complete start the installation make sure to UNCHECK the following checkmarks during installation: Active X, and pluggin for firefox/opera/chrome/etc. you can leave the rest of the installation as default and click next all the time.
3) whenever you want to play a DVD close WMP 11 start Media Player Classic (installed during the real alternative installation, there should be a shourcut icon on your desktop for Real Player Classic now) on Media Player Classic go to File>Open DVD and you should have picture and sound.

Another extra side note of Real Alternative is that you can also play real media files (.rm, .rmvb) without having to install the nasty Real Media Player application

Hope this helps.

the beeps are post during post the very first work is done by the ram,all the memory in the ram is first transferred to the hard disk, and remains active untill turned off.

make sure that your RAM and Cmos battery have dust free secure seatings

some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions SATA

the leads from your (motherboard to your hard drive) make sure they have secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

graphics card is seated properly with no dust in the socket you might have to remove it to check for dust

a computer needs power and data to travel through every working device and to its continue its cycle and to have and end to function

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd have secure make sure the connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty
a computer needs all electric current and computer data to travel to and through every working device and have an end to work properly click start right click on my computer so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

hope this helps

The correct battery for the gen 2 dell dj is the lpcs 244789. Nobody seems to have them on ebay or amazon as of oct 2016. Maybe my friend and I are the only two people still using dj. Note that other batteries would work but won't physically fit in the case. (I tried!) I finally found the correct battery from Alie express and ordered. Note also that shipping will take a month to US.
