Request the wiring diagram from Dayton.

You might be able to use a Gas Parts supplier. They might be able to find you a current version of the part you need. If you have one locally take the part in and show them. That will make it easier to work out what is needed.

I found the installation manual for several Dayton gas heaters, including the 4LX62, at Grainger: https://www.grainger.com/product/DAYTON-Gas-Unit-Heater-4LX62 . The direct link to the manual is currently https://www.grainger.com/ec/pdf/4LX68_1.pdf . Since this is a 250,000 BTU unit, the wiring diagram 5C on page 11 is the one appropriate for your unit. I hope this helps. I could not find separate documentation for the A suffix heater. The suffix may indicate a minor difference (for example - manufactured at a specific facility) and thus the 4LX62 manual is still appropriate. Cindy Wells

Anyone figure out how to rewire this for the charmglow electric fireplace?

Call WWGrainger on this retrofit. In my opinion, after a pilot kit and electronic board, the cost is near a new pilotless heater unit. Call them.

Contactor is bad or bad connection/low voltage to the control side of contactor . Too low of voltage can not pull the contacts together .

Hello I'm having a similar issue with my furnace. Same model. 4 lights are flickering. Filter has been replaced, there's proper air flow. Blows out cold air. This has been occuring every year for 3 years. Techs have told me there's nothing wrong with it and showed me where the limit switches are and how to fix it. It's happened again tonight and everything they showed me is not working. Not sure what to do except call a service tech. Any help? York GF8100C16MU11A

I would contact the makes with model number .Some models will not convert

Look at the panel and it will tell you what the flash code mean .
I THINK it mean roll out switch but every make is different with their code .
If it is the roll out switch then you may have a bad heat exchanger

The fan will run on for approx 1 minute after it has been turned off. This is to cool the unit down and clear any fumes or gas.
