Problem solved with GM. This must have gotten under a wrong category. It has nothing to do with cellular phones.

Steps to replace alternator

1. put the car on ramps
2. drain radiator fluid
3. remove upper radiator hose.
4. loosen/remove alt. drive belt (loosesn belt tensioner bolt and then move the tensioner up with adjusting bolt, a/c belt similar)
5. remove plastic splash sheild
6. loosen/remove drive belt for ac compressor.
7. remove a/c compressor & support it on a stand but DONOT DISCONNECT A/C LINES.
8. loosen alt. bolts (2) and unplug/unbolt wires from alt.
9. remove old alt. from car (be careful not to damage radiator as there is not much clearance).

NOTE:
Do not forget to refill and bleed the cooling system. You may have to unbolt the radiator supports and remove the cooling fan to gain access to the alternator.

I have IN-721 Unit. The brake wire (Pink) you have to connect to a 12V - (negative) of your hand brake, to show picture on the screen only when the car is stopped & handbraked. If you want to see pictures while driving (not recommended because it´s really dangerous (I tried it)), simply connect the brake wire to a single 12V - constant wire.

The cell phone mute (orange), is to connect to a handsfree, to mute the radio when a call it´s coming on, but you don´t need a handsfree, because the radio (innovatek 721) has bluetooth to connect the mobile phone.

The music has to be converted to Ipod format and then transferred to Nano thru a SW installed on the PC thru a USB cable.
