Sometimes on the stems on the side the handle attaches is a nut that can be tightened. Inside this nut is a rubber or other type of seal. tightening this nut stops the water from coming out of the handle. If the nut has already been tightened then possibly need to replace this rubber seal.

with little information you have given , I must assume you have pulled the screw cap cover from the center of the handle to expose the screw that secures the handle to the valve stem and it is either stripped or frozen so tight you can't loosen it . If this is true, the only way I know of (without damaging the rest of the valve assembly) is to start with a quarter inch drill bit on a good drill and drill the center of the screw head in line with the screw and drill into the head about 3/16 " . If the head doesn't detach from the screw, up the size of the drill bit to 1/4in. and drill into the head again . Drilled same depth , no more than 3/16" ... the head should come off and you should be able to remove the handle afterwards . Hopefully there will be enough of the screw protruding from the shaft and you'll be able to remove it, enabling you to reuse the valve stem . If not , you just have to buy a new valve stem with a new screw .

While there are several cartridges that look similiar to what you have posted, Danco it self is an aftermarket parts replacement business. From my point of observation, your posted pic is of a Delta stem which visually has some distinctive attributes. Most every thing Danco makes is a copy or OEM replacement part packaged under their name.
Replaced danco cartridge 88198 three times. only
Danco is an after market faucet parts company that recreates parts cheap for hardware supply chains and such. You would be ahead to try and find the brand of faucet you are trying to repair and get OEM parts. They will probably cost a little more, but will hold up a lot better. I hope this helps.

Dear Airsantacruz,
Check out your assembly is same as per this.....
To eliminate the risk of reverse flow in toilet tanks, anti-siphon ballcocks should be installed with a minimum 25mm (1 inch) air gap above the overflow tube. Figure 3 shows the correct installation of an anti-siphon ballcock while Figure 2 shows the incorrect use.
To eliminate the risk or reverse flow in hoses, inexpensive, easy-to-install hose connection vacuum breakers should be installed (Figure 4). Air gaps should also be left between water outlets and sources of potential contamination such as sinks or tanks.

Check it out if it is a metal red or blue metal it may be the same type used on your washing machine cut off valve
Hi, just bought a sink spray head, put it on and
If it's from the fitting where the sprayer head is attached to the hose check to see if there is a rubber washer. If the leak is not from the lack of a washer or damaged washer. Uninstall and take back for a replacement. There is nothing wrong with what you did. It should not be leaking.
Where can I find a part no. 6N-2C
