Danby DWM99W doesn't agitate properly
Under the agitator, there is a plastic wheel with groove that goes on the metal shaft that is shaking the agitator to wash ur clother. On my machine, the plastic grooves are not there anymore, probably the effect of the cheap plastic rubbing on metal and that is why the agitator is not turning. Porely designed or maybe good design to make you spen money on fixing it. Just change the plastic wheel with a new one and it will start washing again. Good luck.
How do I replace the folding cover and how does the spring attach?
The folding covers have the spring fitted on the inside so that the covers fold over when it is opened. Normally there is no fine settings as the pins go into the cover hinge slots with the spring fixed to provide the tension. You can remove the covers and place it upside down to set it correctly and easily before setting back the lid to the main unit.

Can I use bleach --if so how do I add and how much
you add bleach to the detergent and wash the garments in both. So start filling the washing machine drum, add the perscribed amount of detergent, then add the bleach, let the 2 agitate together and then add the garments. This dilutes both so that they don't damage your clothing. usually it tells you on the package how much to use, however usually a "Cap Full" will do...
