Everstar portable ac fills the overflow water

Air conditioners cause the moisture in the air to condense on the evaporator coil. The water that is created needs to have somewhere to drain. If the unit is in a humid environment, it will create allot of condensation. This kind of operation is not uncommon.

Danby Portable Air Conditioner Rattle/ Rattling Sound Solution

any hvac service shop called and arrived can find the noise and fix it. learn to call for real live help. nobody on the internet in text box can fix it. repairs are human hands on eyes on event. for ever. until R2D2 gets 10 upgrades in 2050? (i bet not) yes all or most machines made by man make noise. fans and motors make noise and shake and then other parts do if loose. and if too much noise? IT need to be dismantled and discovered why., it does. even bent or dislodges parts. we look with real eyes. and more lots more I will skip all tests I do. but believe it. even not reading the install manual to see omg shipping protection devices inside, must be removed ! the manual was clear.. buy a new computer printer and omg lots of those. learn that shipping things 12,000 miles from china things can break ever been on the high Sea's ,brutal. and worse trucking even 6 G forces at bay. so the maker puts in protective devices. and most times the box open day1. you see this huge yELLOW paper that says read me first and most folk do not and fail. or love to wing it, and faIL.

I have a Danby DPAC 7008. How do you remove the complete outside cover?

You either start at the back or side covers. There are screws hidden under plastic plugs. Once you pop the plugs out its easy. Some internal screws are hidden under the panels you remove. Your manual as I looked up the model https://www.manualslib.com/manual/226727/Danby-Dpac7008.html ..

Danby 5000 waters nor draining, should i drill a hole and if yes where.

The 5000 is designed to evaporate all condensation produced. When on extremely hot and humid days if machine produces excess moisture it is normal for machine to drip from back. No, do not drill a hole. Your unit is ok.

Possibly because the sensor is still wet. Unplug it for a bit.
