Dacor Viper regulator leaks water
Pressure inside 2nd stage should be the same as ambient so no water should enter. Maybe should adjust to freeflow and then a nough
back until free flow just stop. careful your reg will now be very sensitive.
Another problem could be a worn exhaust valve - change a new one, see if it helps.
Good luck,

I am in Clearwater Florida. Is there someone who
Hi there you can do few things. Visit a Commercial Diving Company and find out a Dive tech ( Mech) and ask him for proper location. Or in Florida there is an Commercial Diving academy available. There you can visit and repair your regulator in less money. I search in Google but i did not find any proper place for repairing. I am a Saturation Diving Technician and I believe if you visit my mention place then you will get the proper service and also collect some knowledge about how to set a regulator.
Thanks .

Rajdeep.

Missing flow control knob on
Hello, if you speak to any scuba store or dive centre that provides servicing they should be able to help you. Home Regulator repairs are not recommended and should always be carried out by an authorised repair centre. Hope that helps.

How do I tell the model number
The model number of most Dacor 1st stage regs in on the knob to tighten it to the cylinder valve. The 2nd stage model is on the purge button. If those items are missing or damaged you might try comparing catalogue pictures.

I have an unmarked first stage reg. thats leaking
Depending on the model, some regulators (such as Sherwood) always leak a very small stream of fine bubbles as part of the depth compensating mechanism. By this, the regulator adjusts the air flow from the first stage to compensate for increased depth.
As a regulator technician, I would have to see the first stage to make any educated comment or recommendation.
