Bake, convection bake, self clean,

hello!
Is this unit a DACOR PCS230?
There is a reset button associated with this model, but would like to confirm first if this is the exact model you have, before giving you the location.
You can visually inspect for any burnt parts especially on the relay parts of the control board if this the one to be repalced.

Please confirm first if this is the brand and model. Thanks!

Started to clean the oven and now it is beeping

This will generally be an issue with either the wiring at the door switch mechanism, or the door switch itself. Check the door lock switches and wiring. If the wiring is connected well, this will lead to a failed door lock switch mechanism. Use my procedure below to confirm switch failure.

Before repairs or further testing can begin you must disconnect the electricity at the fuse panel, at the circuit breaker panel, or by pulling the plug. Make sure the power is off before proceeding. Once access is gained, set the latch to the "clean" position and test for circuit continuity at the terminals of the switch with your VOM's ohmmeter function. If there is no continuity, the switch is faulty. Use cuation when testing.

Do I have to pull

On some ovens you have to pull the oven out of the cavity and remove the top panel of the oven to get access to the electronic timer control. On other ovens you only have to remove the panel which is behind the timer without removing the whole thing. Just slide it out a bit and have a look at the panel behind the timer.

When oven is heating up

The loud noise is either from sheet metal expanding under stress or an electrical arc. I recommend unplugging the oven, taking the back off, and inspecting the wiring to the oven heating element and the sheet metal near the wiring. Also inspect the plug and socket, oven control and the oven heater element itself for similar problems. If you see signs that arcing has occurred (burn marks, especially with melted metal), repair the wiring and reroute it if necessary to prevent arcing.

If you don't find anything, first make sure the oven rests firmly and levelly on all four feet to eliminate any twisting stress. If there is a problem here, the noise should go away after one or two more cycles once you fix it. A twist in the oven could have something to do with the broken hinges. In the worst case, you may have to loosen and tighten a lot of sheet metal screws to relieve stress in the assembly. It would best if you could locate where in the oven the noise is produced before doing this.

I was unable to find any reference to parts for your model. Please look for the model label either on the doorframe or inside the drawer under the main oven door and verify the complete model number. Also look at the hinges for a part number stamped on them. There are a number of on-line appliance parts stores that carry Dacor parts; you should be able to find something with a search for "Dacor" and the part or model number.

I have a Dacor double oven that gives a error

F0 means shorted keypad or stuck key on keypad.
Solution: The membrane aka keypad has to be replaced.
There's a slight chance that the ERC aka oven controller is acting up also.
So safest bet replace both, ERC and membrane.

F8 alert. What does

F8 code means your door latch assy needs to be replaced, them you have options:
1. Turn it off on the circuit braker
2. Replace the door latch.

It will continue to try to lock itself most likely, as door latch micro-switch logic is messed up.

Hope helps.
