My Cuisinart Class Pro 'Off' button doesn't turn off, it just keeps running. To turn it off I have to unlock the lid.

Don't switch off using the lid interlock or that will be next to go. It is to stop you from running it without the lid. Turn it off at the wall socket. Cuisinart Spares https://www.google.com/search?q=Cuisinart+Class+Pro+parts ..

The bowl on my cuisinart food processor is locked in place. How can I unlock it to remove the bowl?

You don't say what model, but all Cuisinarts have a safety interlock built in to the bowl assembly. The cover must be removed from the bowl to release this interlock before you can remove the bowl from the motor base.

Safety pin on food processor won't retract

It sounds like the safety interlock system on your Cuisinart 14 cup food processor is engaged, preventing the bowl from fitting securely onto the base. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
  2. Use a small, pointed object such as a toothpick to gently push the white safety pin up and out of its locked position. This may take some effort.
  3. Check the base of the food processor for any obstructions or debris that may be preventing the bowl from fitting correctly. Clean any debris you find.
  4. Reinsert the bowl onto the base, ensuring that it is properly aligned and twisted into place.
  5. Press the bowl down firmly onto the base until you hear and feel it click into place.
  6. Plug the unit back in and test it to see if the safety interlock system has been disengaged and the food processor is working normally.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to take the unit to a professional repair technician or contact Cuisinart customer service for further assistance.

Cuisinart 13 cup processor blade will not spin with food in bowl

That is a sort of clutch to protect the motor. Try Cuisinart direct and be sure to include the model number, '13 cup' is just a size to all the 13 cup models they have made over the years. https://www.google.com/search?q=cuisinart+elemental+13-cup+food+processor+replacement+parts You may be able to repair those hooks with J-B Weld Liquid Metal or epoxy putty. If you can clean it well, it is extremely strong. https://www.google.com/search?q=J-B+Weld ..

My Cuisinart DLC-8S Pro Custom Food Processor needs a detachable stem.

eReplacement Parts states that is the right part. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/cuisinart-dlc8s-pro-custom-food-processor-parts-c-147322_147329_147425.html How about direct from Cuisinart Kathleen? Although strangely, they quote part DLC-839ATX-1 as the correct one. Could your processor NOT be a DLC-8S I wonder? https://www.cuisinart.com/shopping/parts-and-accessories/details/dlc-839atx-1 ..

The stem in the DLC-8E Cuisinart food processor does it just pull straight up off the motor shaft?

Yes it does. It is a snug fit on the blade shaft, if you mean the tall shaft that powers the shredder discs? The short one that holds the cutting blade is not removable. The tall stem is shown hereCuisinart DLC-8 Detachable StemItem # 943070https://www.kitchenworksinc.com/cuisinart-food-processor-parts/cuisinart-dlc-8-parts/..

I have a vintage Cuisinart DLC 8M processor. I need to replace the work bowl and have found a DLC 8F online. Would the work bowl from the 8F fit my 8M?

The DLC-8F bowl will not work for the DLC-8M, as I understand the parts list for the 11 cup food processors. However, this site, https://www.kitchenworksinc.com/cuisinart-dlc-8-4-piece-tritan-bowl-kit/ , has a work bowl for the DLC-8 food processor. The bowl fits all models of DLC-8 except the DLC-8E and DLC-8F. The link for the work bowl alone is https://www.kitchenworksinc.com/cuisinart-dlc-8-tritan-workbowl/ . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Blender bottom stuck

I tried the vinegar thing but it didn't quite work. We blended some smoothies with yogurt and it leaked through the bottom. No big deal, we tightened it up. We didn't clean it immediately. By the time we went to clean it, it was stuck. The vinegar didn't work, tried baking soda with vinegar, didn't work. Finally we ran the bottom underneath hot water for about 5-10 minutes. Finally after one strong turn the bottom came off. We have an oyster, the base can be used as well to take the bottom off but it turns counter-clockwise.

I have a Cuisinart Dlc 7 Super Pro Food Processor.

Hi, if the thing is 20 years old, you probably deserve an upgrade. Alternatively, the fuse in the plug just might need changing. if its worked for 20 years its obviously a good ole machine
