Convert usb raw drive to fat drive
The Fat32 (FAT) format is used to format disk drives on Windows-based computers and can also be recognized by the Mac's OS X operating system. You can format a flash drive with the FAT format so that it can be used on both PCs and Macs. The procedure is straightforward, if different depending upon the operating system being used to do the formatting. You do not need to purchase any additional software to format the Flash drive in the FAT format.

Double-click the "Applications" folder inside of the Mac's hard drive. Scroll down to the "Utilities" folder. Double-click the "Utilities" folder. Scroll down to the Disk Utility program. Double-click on the Disk Utility program to launch it. Click once on the icon of the Flash drive that is in the left column of the Disk Utility program's main screen. Select "MSDOS (FAT) from the "Format" menu beneath "Name." Click the "Erase" button at the lower right corner of the Disk Utility program's main screen. Click the "Erase" button in the pop-up confirmation window that appears. Wait as a progress bar at the bottom of the Disk Utility program's main screen fills in from left to right. Click the "Eject" button at the top of the Disk Utility program's main screen once the progress bar is completely filled in. Quit the Disk Utility program. Remove the Flash drive from the USB port of the Mac. b>
Format Flash Drive in FAT on a PC b> Plug the Flash drive into a USB port on the PC. Go to "start," "My Computer." Right-click on the icon of the Flash drive in the center column of the window that appears below "Devices with Removable Storage." Select "Format" from the pop-up menu. Select "FAT32" from the "File System" drop-down menu in the window that appears. Click the "Start" button at the bottom of the window. Click the "OK" button in the confirmation pop-up window that appears. Wait as a progress bar fills in from left to right at the bottom of the window where you had selected "Fat32." Click the "OK" button on the "Format Complete" pop-up window when it appears. Right-click on the icon of the Flash drive that is on the desktop. Select "Erase" from the pop-up menu. click start control panel user accounts on the users tab click the name of the computer administrator you must have full control
click start click to open on my computer you should see your usb drive could be E: or something right click select properties there will be an array of options
select the sharing tab option then advanced sharing make sure you have a tick in the share this folder box
then click permissions make sure you have all 3 boxes ticked full control changes and read in windows 7
click start control panel user accounts click on the administrators account if you have made one or you will have to create one in windows XP
click start right click on my computer select openRight click the icon of your usb drive (It should be E:/ or something) Click Properties in the menu that comes up Click the Sharing tab Click permissions And finally, click Allow next to Full Control.

hi this is quite simple to do, open your case, locate the memory that is already installed, on either side of the memory stick there are 2 leaver looking items, push them downwards till they click, as you do this the memory stick will rise slightly, once both leavers are pushed down fully you can then remove the memory stick, keeping an eye on the location of the cut out in which way the stick came out, then position your new one in the same way and push it home, the 2 leavers will then raise up and click to lock the new memory stick in place, and then just replace the side cover of your pc and you are done...hope this helps
How do I find out if the memory I just bought from
When installed correctly into your computer it will show on the black boot up screen if it is set to show boot details.
Otherwise you can go to the control panel in windows and click on the system icon which will also show you how much memory is in your computer.
If you see no difference or the computer does not boot wih the new memory contact the supplier for information on returning it or further testing.
Monitor goes into 'Power Saver Mode' on boot up!
You need to upgrade your motherboard BIOS to the latest version (V.5a) to support your DUAL CORE 2.5Ghz processor... that's the problem.

Cant Start Up
Hi
start with removing the added ram try starting up, if it doesn\t start up does it beep?
if noting happens remove all the ram, the computer should definitely beep now.
Add only the original memory and try starting up you should get picture.
This seems to be a old problem and if you don\t need assistance in solving it. It would be great if you would share to the world how you fixed your problem so other users can benefit from your experience.

winlogon.exe has become corrupted....shouldn't be memory related.....try using safe mode to restore your pc from a restore point....alternativly you'll need a boot disk like ERD commander to boot from cd and get to a restore point

As a software guy, I would have to advise against piracy. :)
There are several ways to get Visio for cheap. If you are a student, there are discounted versions available online and in stores. Also, you can check with your school for even cheaper options sometimes. Try the university bookstore if available. Or a Computer Science department maybe.
If you are working, and your company uses MS Office applications, find out if they have the "Microsoft at Home" program. You can get MS Office applications for really cheap that way. I can get Visio through my company's "Microsoft at Home" program for a few dollars.
