It's one of two problems, either the nozzles in the cartridge are clogged or your printing preferences are set to "print in grayscale." To clear the nozzles try running the printer through a "deep cleaning" cycle from the printer's maintenance screen (available from the printer's properties). To check the printing preferences go to the printer's properties, as well, from Start > Control Panel > Printers & Faxes > right-click on the printer and choose Printing Preferences. Make sure to uncheck "Print In Grayscale."

Windows 7 does not have drivers for Xerox Docuprint P8ex

Hi all, The Xerox DocuPrint P8ex understands PrinterControlLanguage of version 5e or 6 (PCL 5e or PCL 6). So actually you can use driver from every printer supports PCL 6. Driver for "Fuji Xerox AP-II C2200 PCL 6" working very well for me on Windows 7 64bit. Steps to install: From Device Manager -> Other devices ->Right click on DocuPrint P8ex -> Update Driver Software -> Browse my computer for driver software -> Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer -> Double click Printers -> Fuji Xerox from Manufacturer -> FX AP-II C2200 PCL -> Next

Projector overheating and turns off after 20 mins

I have a HP VP6111 projector that works fine on a table top but overheats ( overheating ) when turned upside down and hung from my ceiling. My solution...I went to Circuit City and bought two 80mm computer fans. I also purchased a 12V power supply from Radio Shack. I put one fan on front of my projector and the other on the back of the projector and wired them into the 12V power supply. I mounted both fans with velcro. The front fan pushes air and the rear fan pulls air. The projector now runs fine without shutting off. The fans are 12V and push 34 cubic feet per minute of air. I am very happy with this solution.

I have an Compaq MP1400 projector not working

Hello :

1:Remove the lamp from the projector. Ensure that it has no cracks, discoloration or "smoky" appearance.

2:Try removing and reseating the lamp, or to try another lamp.

3:Reset your lamp timer. Most projectors have no way of knowing if you physically have replaced your lamp or moved it out . They rely on the user resetting the lamp timer

4:Pull the lamp back out of the unit, give is a brisk shake and reseat the lamp. Occasionally there is some buildup on the lamp contacts or filament during manufacturing.

5:Are the input and output vents blocked or obstructed in any way? That could cause overheating problem and what you see with your projector is one of it's symptoms .

6:Are the filters dirty or clogged? Most manufacturers will recommend filter cleaning on a monthly basis depending on usage .After cleaning the filter always remember to reset your projector .

7:Remove any extension cords, power strips and/or surge suppressors. Many current model projectors will not even try to ignite the lamp if they detect drops or fluctuation in voltage supplied to the unit. This is a safety feature to reduce stress on the lamp.

I have two patches, that if you look closely look like the tracks of a circuit board, on my image. What is this?

Are you saying you see tracks (darkened circuit board) on the board? Most likely you have had a bad voltage surge or near by lightning strike that has burned through the circuit board (very high voltage). if you are talking about the screen image, you got me.
