Compaq iPAQ - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

yet another old IPAQ, PDA.
why not ask HP
warning most have not seen one in 10 years, and forgot.

why own any legacy device like this, retired.
why not upgrade.?
nobody uses this thing> parts are not found. support zero.
value is like $1 at a garage sale.

did you ask the maker of micromedex if they even support this app
or if it even works in that mode, that be like first.

It's a funny one! The only thing I can think of is to format your card

To send and receive e-mail with Inbox and view Web sites with Pocket Internet Explorer, set up a remote connection using a modem card or an Ethernet/LAN card.
To connect to the Internet with a modem card, you need a phone line, a dial-up Internet Service Provider, and an optional Single-slot or Dual-slot PC Card Expansion Pack or CompactFlash (CF) Card Expansion Pack.
*Insert your modem card
*From the Start menu, tap Settings
*Tap the Connections tab->Connections Icon-->Internet Settings-->Modify-->New
*Enter a name for the connection, select the modem type, and select the correct baud rate for that modem.

I have shared the basic steps..which I refereed using the reference guide for the model that you have specified from this website.This you can easily get my typing "reference guide for Compaq iPAQ H3850 Pocket PC" in Google...and the first link lets you download the PDF..Follow the steps carefully and connect to the internet.To check for the internet speed you can use Scanmyspeed.com which gives you accurate speed results.
