Cant' access http://192.168.1.254/

ping it first. got to start menu, run, type cmd, press enter, and type, ping 192.168.1.254. you should get a reply after you did that. if not, connect to the access point first and go to wireless connection status, click properties, scroll down and look for the internet protocol (TCP/IP) and highlight it and click properties, mark the use the following ip address and type 192.168.0.1~100. this means choose a number from 1 to 100 onthe last slot. after that press tab on your keyboard and you will see that it will automatically generate the default subnet mask. press ok and close the application. got to start menu, run type cmd press enter and type ping 192.168.1.254. if it does not work, i do not know what else you can do. just remember, if it work or not, be sure to put the setting of your wireless network connection status and mark obtain IP address automatically. press ok and close application.

How do i get up 300mbs speed with my wnir3300 router

Your router can do 300mbs Like a car can go 150 miles / h. Your car almost never goes that fast. You router neither. The other side, the line to your provider is even more important. They sell up to ??? mb/s, but you never get that speed. Only in the best circumstances someone could come close, but as soon as more users are on line or in the same segment, the speed will drop. I think if you use a 1 Gb/s ethernet cable, from the router to your computer you won't add much to the speed. Even if you have more WiFi hotspots close to you, they can bring your speed down a little. So plenty reasons, why you can try to speed up your connection, but none will really work. At least not as drastic you could reach twice the speed you now have. Sorry

Help me plz

cisco routers make use of an IOS software for configurations.

you have to connect the router to a computer system through an hyper terminal program in order to access the router command interface, there is no way you will be able to configure this router without having cisco configurations knowledge.

the steps could be complex/complecated for a novice.but all the same,

after running the hyper terminal program on your computer to connect the router(start-accessories-communication-hyper terminal) make sure you use cisco serial cable or a cat5e roll over cable.

press the enter key once and type 'enable' then press enter,

configure terminal,to take you to a global configuration mode.

i will advice that you should contact a cisco person in your area for help

Run a cnet cnp430 on windows 7

I hope you are connecting the print server to a network hub or switch and not trying to connect directly to your Win 7 machine. There are no drivers, a print server is a network device. Connect the ethernet cable from print server to your router. connect your printer to the switch. Search the network for the printer.
