When you supply the paper to the machine put the correct size and media type

Adjust vertical offset in printer properties. If that doesn't fix it, adjust it under "advanced". Or... you can set the offset in the printer itself. Hold down the left two buttons at the same time. Cycle through the settings until you get to vertical offset.

What you need to do is purchase the label printing software for the printer. I do believe the CD that once came with the printer's packaging was just the printer drivers for the Windows 95-XP edition operating systems; and one had to buy the software program separately. Make sure the driver you have downloaded is from here ... http://www.citizen-systems.com/sites/default/files/software/citizen_7.3.5.exe This is the driver they recommend for your printer with windows 8x.

First you need to check the blink rate: If fast this denotes a ribbon error - check ribbon is installed correctly. If slow this denotes a label sense error - check the sensors are clean and are correctly aligned.

On the right hand side of the print head is a blue thumb wheel. ensure this is set position 9, this will give you full width print. This adjustment is for setting narrow width labels.
