Is it just you or any contact for one way chat?
If just you, or just one contact, what I have done is removed that particular contact and real installed with slight name change. Strangely enough vitamin worked for me.
If it's all contacts ( or most) then I would get sim card changed out, I also had that done once before.

Well if you are tied to a particular network all you have to do is to unlock your phone to use it any other GSM network. You can get the unlock code through online. Give your IMEI number & get the unlock code for ur mobile .............You also get through online..........I will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.

As I remember, this phone is not SDHC compatible, so it's limited to 2 GB cards.

u can take a usb cable that not being used by any thing . save the end that plugs in to your computer . the end you would plug in to the device you can cut off and you need to use the red and black wires to jump start the battery so it will charge . on your battery you will see the - and + the black goes to the - and red to + can use electric tape to hold the exposed wire to it and plug the other end in to your computer for about a 5 to 10 mins and then put it in your phone and turn it on and charge it .if didnt work you might have to leave it hocked up to the usb cord on the battery longer what i did to mine and it turns on and works fine now had the same problem battery got to low and dead . so phone was froze and wouldnt start

Try to reset using the doing these firstly just the soft reset if that doesn't solve the issue complete all these steps.

Your device needs a complete software reinstallation from scratch. There is no other way to fix it. If you don't have the correct software installation disks (not normally supplied to the user) then the device must go to a service centre.

go to control panel click on regional and language options .than select Spanish

Call your carrier tell your carrier's customer service representative that you're traveling abroad and want to use a foreign carrier's Sim card If they don't give you the code, stick by your guns and ask for a manager.

Use the advanced options in your desktop manager under back-up and restore, then on RHS scroll to BB messenger and click clear, do a back-up and restore once complete and restore BB Messenger

I just fixed mine. No ring or external sounds following a short drop. Found a loose internal header on the back, right side of the phone.

Remove back.
Remove battery.
Remove SIM.
Remove 4 screws (note will void warranty)
Starting from top, carefully de-attach rear plastic cover.
Inspect. Header on right side as you look at the back of the phone has black/white wire going to speaker.
Reattach.
Re-install in reverse order.

Crazy phone still works great!
