Wrong format possibly?

I am more than half a century older than you and you could be using a foreign language to tell your troubles. I don't know the answer but I can tell you the same happens to me. I download Vinyl Cafe podcasts or something similar and I usually download several at a time. They all come from the same source at the same time and and are in the same Mp3 format yet about half of them won't play on Media player. Windows media player just claims they are an unknown format but I find other media players are more successful, Winamp for instance. I can only assume that the download of those Mp3 files that Media Player won't recognise, wasn't perfect and some tiny but important bit of software got lost or mixed up. As yet I haven't compared the results between a wireless connection and a wired connection or between cable and ADSL but I think the problem might be the imperfect performance of wireless and ADSL compared to cable or fibre...

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll through all of your devices

if you see a yellow question or exclamation mark ? ! or a red X you will need to update the drivers for this device right click select update driver/reinstall driver

if you can see your usb device but its not working scroll to Ports(Com&Ltd) right click to update driver

if you computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it

or you might have to download them

rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours

I had this happen to me too! what I found is that the Mp3/mp4 converter I used was an older version than the player , it was mere a problem of format , it was different . how I found out was I downloaded one song to it in the proper format without using the converter and it worked fine , Then the light bulb over my head went on ! that's it a format issue !!

Try using the restore feature for the 2GBMP3 player.

I HAD A VISUAL LAND MP3 PLAYER. ONLY PLAYED FIRST 10 SECONDS OF SONG. IT IS SET TO INTRO. WHILE THE SONG IS PLAYING PUSH THE BUTTONS AND YOU WILL SEE THE OPTIONS COME UP. SONG HAS TO BE PLAYING. CHANGE FROM INTRO.

go to control panel, system, hardware, device manager find the drive and uninstall it then plug the drive back in and let the computer search the web for the driver
