What's wrong with my camera?
From the description, the camera lens is jammed and can't zoom out causing it to shut down. I would have it checked to verify problem and see if it can be salvaled.
How do you remove internal memory and save what is there
This camera stores pictures in an internal memory. There should have been a USB cord that came with it that will allow you to transfer the pictures to your computer. Shut off camera and connect USB cord to camera and your computer. Turn on the camera and your computer will recognize it as an external drive, Then copy the DCIM folder to your computer. Once this is done then you can format the internal memory on your camera and it will clear the memory.
Will not upload to imac 20 Casio EXILIM Digital Camera
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo management program.
Will not upload to mac
To upload pictures to a PC or a MAC, you need to install the software that came with the camera. Only then the computer knows when the camera is connected and can start transferring pictures.
On the CD are also the drivers if your system needs one.
Most brands doe have the software on their site. For that goto the Support part of that site.
How do you turn the sound on for recording video with sound.
I know this sounds stupid, but click the up arrow to go into the setting mode and scroll down to the "Optical Zoom" setting and select "OFF". This will allow sound recording. I think Casio sets the camera up this way to avoid recording the sound of the optical zoom motor noise.
Hope this helps...
