There is no model number LBP-810, it's missing numbers or wrong.

There is a LASER CLASS 810.

You need the correct model number to find them.

here is the page if you get the right number.

Try this:

Connect the printer to the PC and turn it on. Windows might start it's driver install thing. Tell it to search online for drivers, it might find it/them. If that doesn't even happen, go to Device Manager to see if the printer is there. If so, right click on it, choose Properties. Then, click on Update Driver, and tell it to search online. Also, Windows Update might find updates for that printer in the optional updates tab.

Also, if you happen to have the original install CD, you could place it in the CD drive, tell it not to do anything. Then, access the disc from Windows Explorer or My Computer. Find the setup file, and make a shortcut for it. Then, right click on the shortcut, choose Properties. On the Compatibility tab, you could maybe tell the shortcut to run in XP SP3 mode or whatever.

Good luck.

Error code E#100, ERR 100 or E100-0000 is a laser scanner unit error.
Solution 1:
Turn off the printer, wait 10 minutes, and then turn it on again.
Solution 2:
Flip open the top of the printer.
Look for a small shutter that holds the laser: carefully force this open with your hands and force the laser out into the center of the tracking cradle.
After you move the laser, unplug the printer for a few minutes.
Plug the printer back in.
Solution 3:
If the same error occurs, it's necessary to contact a service representative.

Best to un-install the printer drivers, softwares related to this printer. Go to and download the latest drivers and software. Connect the printer to the computer and let the computer recognise it and then install the drivers from your download. You can also check if there is any damage to the cable as this could also stop the communication between the computer and printer.
