7d - problem with shots remaining
Maximum for counter is 999. Counter is showing 999 because you have space available for more than 999 shots. If you've got a very large memory card it may tke quite some time to get below 999.

Taking Pictures of a Sunrise or Sunset
In the mode option u select sunrise or sunset noe be carefull while taking the photo the direct sunrays should never hit on your lense get a shade above your lense now try to take the photo without flash
Hello
I have a Canon 400D
The only thing I can think of is a card format. Do it once in the computer and once in the camera. After that do a factory reset for the camera settings then set the image quality to Large jpegs. Also try Googling the strange file extensions a see what info you can get.
Frequent error 80 occursdespite using different
That error is really only a very generic error "Err 80 Malfunctions related to the electric control or images have been detected."
-Turn the power switch to OFf then to ON; to turn on the power again.
-Remove and re-install the battery.
Clean the area where the lens meets the body with a pencil eraser. Hope this helps, good luck.
Canon 600D.LCD screen display problem
If the full size image is being recorded on the memory card then you may need a repair job. First try formatting the card in the computer and format again in the camera also try a different card. If the problem persists get a repair quote.
Top edge of my photo is a black diagonal shadow
Sounds like it could be vignetting from either a lens hood or an accessory. Are you seeing this in all photos or flash only? If flash, sometimes a wide shot with a lens hood on will block the flash output and cause the described shadow line.

Canon T3 flash flutters and does not take pictures help!
The 'fluttering' is a pre flash used to help the camera focus in low light. The internal flash isn't a powerful flash and is usually only good enough for subjects up to about 2m away in reasonable light also to light a subject that is back lit. Try putting the camera in manual mode (M) 1/60sec on f5.6 flash popped up review it and make adjustments accordingly i.e. open up or shut down the aperture as the flash usually syncs at 1/60
Internal flash won't work anymore
Try a factory reset. In the menu go to the third spanner and select 'Clear settings'
To pop up the flash put the camera in manual mode (M) and press the flash release button and it should pop up.
Hi, i have a canon
Most definitely battery grip. Prone to a phenomenon know as 'flexing'. The contacts on the grip fail to connect to camera's contacts. Can cause other problems such as switching on and off when you least expect it. I got sick of going thru about two grips for every camera so went with 1D/1Ds series. You'll hear people say 'stick with Canon grips' blahhh(!) too ****** expensive and are prone to the same problem. Can't be helped when you hand hold a camera+grip for long periods - the warmth of your hands can heat up (warp) the plastics and it's all held 'together' by one little screw in a tripod mount (!)
You could 'try' removing the grip, leave it off for say a week. I don't know why it's how, but if always works like new when you put it on again. Until....it starts playing up again. :)
OEM, 3RD party... OTY. For the price of one Canon I could get two cheapies. Always had the 1D (classic) and ahem...still have it! So I stuck with the series (1D IV, 1Ds2) Still holding onto my 7D w/grip (3rd party) though.
My canon EOS 100D digital
Card was removed before the camera was completely shut down or whilst software was being updated. Camera is 'bricked' will need to be sent to canon service agents for repairs.

Canon t3i will not fire
Have you got the camera set for mirror lock up. Check and disable if appropriate. When mirror lock is selected the first press of the shutter button moves the mirror up the second press fires the shutter
Canon 50d error 50
Go to the Canon web site and look at the list of error codes for an explanation. Or Google Canon Error Codes
Use of Canon 60D's wireless function to control power on Canon 430EXII, being operated manually.
Your flash will fire optically. This is wireless but not radio. On the flashgun window move through the options until you see all of these in the window :- Flashing M, MZoom (24mm)
(the power output eg) 1/4
Flashgun icon CH1 Slave (blank)
The front panel should show a flashing red light. This means it is ready to receive the light signal from your onboard flash. From the camera menu select the in built flash control.
Set it to - Built-in flash - CustWireless
Flash mode - Manual flash
Wireless func - (single flashgun icon)
Channel- 1 ch
firing group - (flashgun icon)All
(flashgun icon) flashoutput - 1/64
selecting 1/64 should be sufficient to trigger the flash gun but not light the scene.
Manually pop up the onboard flash
In the view finder you'll see a number of green bars when half pressing the shutter and wait for them to go down to one which mean the camera and flashgun are communicating, fully press to take the shot and the flash (off camera) should fire.
