Golf trolley went into lake. Bushnell Tour V4 range finder was attached to bag, & is full of water. Can I take it apart & dry things out?

Contact Bushnell to request assistance. Unknown if battery replacement after drying it out will be of use.

My bushnell v2 shows a e31 error can this be fixed?

Can you check that the new battery is an alkaline battery? If it is, and you are still getting the E31 error code, you will need to return your rangefinder to Bushnell to have it reprogrammed.

E31 is a programming error code. Most of the time this comes from using non-alkaline batteries or from letting a battery die in the unit. Non-alkaline batteries just don't generate enough current for the laser to operate properly.

Bushnell V4 power button won't depress. It appears to be stuck down, so won't give a reading.

They do stay on for a while after switch, that is OK. Dim and out of focus may indicate that the output voltage is low. If replacing the battery does not fix it, then the problem may be in the power supply circuit.

My bushnell tour v2 range finder is stuck on 1888 yards divided by 18 equals 888metres what do I do to fix this

I have a Bushnell Tour V2 that has worked very well for over 8 years and it just started doing the same thing with the frozen screen and 1888 yards. Since I just replaced the battery that I bought at a Pro Shop about 6 months ago I thought the battery was fine. I looked at the battery and did not recognize the brand so I went out and bought a new Copper Top Duracell and BANG it is working again just like new.
