You'll need to get in behind the machine. With a bit of wiggling and twisting the pipe should pull off at the machine end. You should then be able to get the whole thing out from behind the machine to clean it. I used an long, old piece of wood dowel to loosen the dirt. E21 means a blockage in the drain pump. I would check the impeller spins freely. A coin from a pocket can cause that error as it gets stuck in the impeller.

I couldn't find a manual for the Defy DT153. However, the directions for the DT151 might help, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1143848/Defy-Dtl151.html?page=11#manual . Make sure that the machine is powered first. To toggle the child lock on and off, press Wash and Rinse simultaneously. If you look at the image on the above page, you will note there is a line between the two buttons with a padlock symbol. Look for a similar padlock on the DT153 control panel for the child lock option on your machine.
