Hi there!!
Try this:
Step 1 Turn the component, like a TV set, on.
Step 2 Hold down the "Code Search" key on the SystemLink 3 remote until the light that's on the remote turns on. Keep holding the button after the light turns on.
Step 3 Press the device button ("TV" button) at the top of the RCA remote. Then, release both buttons.
Step 4 Press "Off/On" repeatedly as the remote browses through available codes. Continue doing this until the component shuts off.
Press "Enter" to save the code.
Good Luck!

sorry but sony don't have color wheel , if u have a high pitched noise may be a fan , now the question is is this problem only when u first turn on the tv or is there all the time , if is there all the time fan , but if only when you turn on tv may be u need to replace lamp , because the noise would be from the ballast trying to turn on the lamp

Hi There!
Is there buttons on the set? You did not provided enough information to really help but I will try.
If you have buttons on the tv then simply try and click the power button. If the set does not respond to the power button then it is time to try a universal remote. A cable box remote should be able to program to your set, turn it on and off as well as control the volume. If your set is not responding to the remote then come back here and ask another question, be sure to included the make and model of the set and be sure to tell us exactly what the issue is, i.e plugged in but wont power on, list the things you tried- be as detailed as possible. Good luck! Thank for asking...

Hi there!
Typically the red light on lots of appliances (TV'S in particular) indicate power is available to the appliance, is this so on your tv?
If so the first thing you should focus on is resetting the breaker associated with that power outlet or changing outlets. If there is a reset button on the tv then push it. After you do this we can go on to the next steps- it sounds like the set is not getting any power so let make sure then get back to me. Good Luck and Thanks

Hello There!!!!!!
Well this is gonna take some work... First thing to start with is...

When you replace the bulb/s -does the bulb actually illuminate?

If you shine a very bright light into the surface of the screen can you see a faint image of whats on the set?

Do you get sound?

If the bulb is illuminating, is it blowing soon after?

Did the set return to normal operation after replacing the bulb the first time?

Side Note-Never touch a high power bulb glass enclosure because you can leave oils and moister that lesson the life of the bulb or make it more prone to blowing. I have no facts to support this note beside my own experiences but this is a known "thing".
Questions? Just ask. Mr.Mike

Do you know the make and model of the TV?

Hi can you please clarify what you mean by "blinking menu" please.

Kind regards.

I am not sure then. 100 is the loudest that the volume can be turned up to on TV's and 100 is the max that a TV can go up to for volume then.

Try resetting the receivers and your TV by unplugging them for approximately 20 seconds. During this time, also take the HDMI cables out as well too. Then re-plug everything and reconnect the cables. The main reason for a TV to be showing a blue screen on the TV is because the source device has not been set to the correct mode. If the set-top box is connected to the TV by using a coaxial cable, then the TV should be set to Channel 3 or 4 to be receiving the signal.

It might be a power supply problem and an issue with the capacitors or bad capacitors inside of the TV then or a combination of both a power supply problem and bad capacitors inside of the TV then. Whenever the power supply goes bad, it interrupts the flowing of the electricity to the TV's electrical components, making the TV be turning off. Replace the power supply to fix this issues and replace the capacitors too.

Maybe the remote might be broken then and the buttons on the TV remote could be broken then I have seen video's on YouTube about how to fix and repair TV remotes then. Or the batteries could be dead then and change the batteries in the remote.

If the TV is not on mute then . Under Audio or Audio Settings on the on the TV"s screen menu, If the TV's Speakers is set to On. All of the cables must be physically connected to the TV and the input devices are secure. Switch it to an other input device and verify there is sound from the TV speakers an example DVD player or a blu ray player or a VCR then. If no luck still them maybe the parts inside of the TV that have the sound to work and being heard on the TV and the speakers that are built in the TV could be broken and will need to be repaired.

  1. Wet your first cloth and wring out all excess water.
  2. Remove any of the dust by gently wiping the damp cloth across the surface of the TV's screen surface by using very light pressure.
  3. Wet the second cloth with water and a small amount of the soap
  4. Wipe the TV screen a second time, using really light gentle pressure. Or you could asks someone that fixes projection TV's if they can clean the TV screen for you if you don't feel comfortable with cleaning the screen for the TV.

Maybe the remote could be having problems then or the batteries might be running low in the TV remote or the batteries are not working in the remote for the TV anymore. Try putting new batteries in the remote to see if it works and the remote could be on the wrong setting too.
