Are you saying that the same picture is split into two, or that there are 2 images split on the screen? Might be the PIP board or setting on the remote that is bad.

Sorry, Samsung is know not to work with anything but Samsung. If it lists a code in the back of the TV's booklet for pairing you might have a chance.

I don't know but surely if your tv has an option for analogue inputs there will be a range of sockets for the job - phono and/or scart.
If the sockets are there connecting will be intuitive.

Many modern tv sets are compatible only with boxes, converters, decoders and media players that provide a digital output. Analogue to digital converters are available but I can't comment about how successful they are.

I suggest you revisit the user manual of your tv.

take it in for professional repair, it is by far the cheapest option than swapping out boards that may or may not be faulty. You need all the test equipment and the knowledge.

Hello
You must have its original remote control to unlock it. If you haven't one with you now, try to get a new one of just gather it from any of your friends or relatives who owns the same model number RCA tv; just to unlock your set. After unlock, you can use any other universal remote control. To unlock your RCA TV, just follow the proceedings given below. One amoung them will surely unlock your TV.

Most RCA TV sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The code reset procedure is different depending on the model. Try each method until you find one that works:

1. Hold down MENU on the remote and VOLUME DOWN on the TV it's self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked

2. Hold down the 0 on the remote and the VOLUME DOWN buttons on the TV its self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked

3. Hold down the MENU button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds.

4. Hold down GO BACK on the remote and MENU on the front of the TV at the same time for at least 4 seconds.

5. Hold down EJECT on the front of the TV and the MENU button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds.
Depending on the model, one of the methods should unlock the V-chip. Now, if desired, you can change the settings on the V-chip by going to the MENU and going to PARENTAL CONTROLS, or on some sets, going to MENU and then going to TV SETUP, then to V-CHIP SET.

The problem with the television is that the lamp is bad and need to be replaced. This is as a result, of overheating inside the unit of the television. Be sure to have your television where there is proper vent.

Try to unplug the television for a while before working on it as the television stores high voltage in it. Then you Turn to the back of the television, then you unscrew the television and assess the lamp of the television and replace it with a new one.

Reassemble the television back together and power it on. That way it will work properly.

Time for a new television as that one is beyond economic repair. New screen at the very least and anything inside that shorted or surged. That car was thrown with a lot of force.
