Is there an adapter available to attach my Nikon
Sorry but your out of luck with that combination. Nikon only made SLR adapters for their Fieldscope line of spotters, none for the Sky and Earth series. The camera adapters are very proprietary so you won't be able to use another manufacturer's SLR adapter to solve this one.

Internal battery terminal corroded and fell off
I have the same problem on my Canon 10x42 IS WP binoculars. The Duracell copper top batteries leaked and corroded the inside of the battery holder. I will never trust those Duracell batteries again. They have ruined more than one expensive piece of mine. Just go to work and remove a few tiny screws to remove the rectangular cover screws to get at the battery holder screws and then lift the battery holder right out from inside the binoculars. You have to get inside the compartment to unplug the leads for your bad battery holder and then replace it with the new replacement battery holder which you can get from Canon for like $70. Go to the Canon website and call their toll free number and ask for binocular tech support and they will take your order for the replacement battery holder.

Can you repair digital display inside the rangefinder?
Yes. I fixed my dim LCD inside the rangefinder (Bushnell Tour v3 Jolt), by opening it up and reconnecting all the ribbon cables.
Previously, the display numbers were dim, and I often could not read the last digit.
To fix, you need to pull away the rubber grip around the device. It may take some force, and I did rip my grip in a couple of places, so be careful. Then it reveals the screws. There are also screws under the grip at the top of the device. As I won't be pulling it apart again, I superglued it back together. If I anticipated that I would open it up in future, I'd probably use something less permanent, like silicon.

Focus knob turns but nothing moves
The Celestron manual for this scope has nothing to say, but on the underside of the focuser assembly, between the 2 focus knobs, you may see 2 screws. They might be thumbscrews or some other screwhead type. One is the adjustment for the focuser internal clearance, or looseness, and the other is a focus travel lock.If present, try backing both off 1/2 turn from tightness, and then experiment to see which is which. The focus lock will have no effect until tight, when the focuser will cease moving, as is now. The other screw will gradually remove looseness and rattle from the focuser until it just moves smoothly, with no back and forth loose feeling at the knob.If neither of these screws is visible you will have to take it to a binocular and telescope shop, where they should not charge much.
