If you are detecting voltage at the output of the switch, something is wrong in the wiring, sockets, or both of the brake lights.

Nothing is more elegant and practical than well-designed balustrades. They accent architectural elements, such as staircases and balconies, while serving as a practical barricade against falls. Their handrails provide stability for seniors and people with disabilities.
Since it serves several purposes, a balustrade must incorporate quality into every aspect of its design. Tough, durable materials help them hold up under years of heavy use, while their style and color should blend seamlessly with the building's design. To help you choose which type of balustrade you need, here are some ideas:
Balcony balustrades: For a balcony, you need a balustrade that's high enough to prevent falls for taller persons but sits low enough to the balcony floor that pets and small children cannot crawl underneath. Since most balconies are installed outdoors, you need to choose materials, stains, and paints that hold up well under all types of weather.

Hi Jessica:
Surface rust should have no effect on the structural integrity of the fence, and a totally acceptable cosmetic fix should be able to be obtained using galvanize paint.
Notice I said COSMETIC fix. If the fence is no longer structurally sound, it may be time for some major repairs or replacement.

Do you have sensors that stop the gate closing on people or cars ? If so put your ear near the sensor but not inline with the opposite one. Now gently wave your hand in front of it .... if there is no click then something is obstructing the beam. Sometimes spiders get inside and spin that candy floss type web in there .

The first place to look is your receiver. This is the device, often separate from the actual gate operator, that responds to your transmitter. Stand next to the gate operator and you should hear a small click coming from the receiver when you or someone else pushes the button.

You can sometimes find the receiver by following the antenna cable back to it. If it does not have an external antenna, look inside the operator box for either an antenna screwed into the receiver or a wire hanging from a plastic box.

If you hear the click and the gate does not open, the possibilities grow exponentially so we won't try to address every possibility here. If you hear a click when you are close, but not when the transmitter is triggered at a distance, check the antenna.

If you don't hear the click, then either the remote has lost programming (this often happens with rolling codes transmitters when they are not used for a long time), or the receiver is not working.

Check to make sure the receiver is getting plenty of power power using a meter. It should read at the recommended voltage or a bit higher. Usually around 24 volts but some receivers can work down to 12 volts. If it gets plenty of power and the remotes have been programmed back in, consider replacing the receiver.

The clutch plate is probably stuck. If you have a clear space in front of the truck select first gear, release the parking brake and start the engine with your foot on the clutch. The vehicle will lerch forward and the engine should start with the vehicle now moving forward. Hit the brakes with your left foot still on the clutch and the clutch will probably release and work normally.
