o reset your Homebasix Oscillating Parabolic Heater, follow these steps:
Unplug the heater from the power source.
Locate the Manual Reset Button on the heater. It's usually a small button or switch.
Use a fireproof, non-conductive rod (such as a wooden stick or plastic tool) to press the Manual Reset Button.
After resetting, plug the heater back in and check if it functions properly.
Remember to ensure that there are no flammable objects within 3 feet of the heater and that it is placed on a stable surface.
Open front thermostat door and open battery compartment door.
Install two new "AA" alkaline batteries. Locate the positive (+) ends of the batteries and match them with the positive (+) terminals located in the battery compartment. Close battery compartment.
Going by the photo of the thermostat, it looks like there's a finger recess or latch on the right side of the thermostat that you pull on to swing the front open. If there is unexpected behavior from the thermostat after replacing the battery, see the reset procedure in the installation section of the manual.

When was it last serviced, and cleaned? It may need a top up of refrigerant gas.
I suspect what you posted as a model number is actually a Serial Number and it is from Month 5 (May) of 2022. It may be under warranty.

Check the Power Connection:
Ensure that the heater is properly plugged in to a standard electrical outlet. If the outlet has tripped, reset it to restore power to the heater
.
Thermostat Fuse and Resistance:
You mentioned that the thermostat resistance is very low. This could be a sign of a faulty thermostat.
Replace the thermostat fuse if it's burnt out. Make sure to connect the wires tightly.
Use a multimeter to test the thermostat. It should read less than 1 ohm.
Safety Features:
The Pelonis HO-0221 includes safety features such as a thermal cut-off. If the heater overheats due to abnormal conditions, it will shut off automatically.
If the heater turns off unexpectedly, inspect and remove any objects near it. Allow it to cool before resuming normal operation.

Sometimes a simple reset can resolve issues. Follow these steps:
Turn off the Pelonis Heater and unplug it from the power source.
Leave the heater unplugged for 15 minutes to cool down completely.
Plug it back in and turn on the heater.
