How to store old books?
Some old books are really valuable and we want to keep them safe and avoid their decay with time. The simple way is dry up them in Sun or with hot air blower and keep in a plastic pouch and close the pouch either with strapler pin or cello tape.

Tip on add calculated values
syntax is perfect. I just tried on my Linux installation, with a column named "Normalized ULK1 IC50s" and with
your exact syntax, which worked well. Which platform do you use (Mac, Linux, Win32 or Win64 and which JRE)? I will then
retry under similar conditions.

What do you think of naming a child a Harry Potter name?
Well, honestly I think naming a child, especially your first after a Harry Potter character is great. But, as great as that sounds, you also want to secure your child's future from bullying, anti-Harry Potter fans, and etc. But those are great names as Hermione also has a origin, and many people these days name their kids after things. I mean it's better than naming your child sexfruit,(yes, someone has seriously named their child this.) Truthfully, yes I think you should name your child after Harry potter character, but when they grow up, please do not relate them to the character his/her is named after. Ex: You named your child Hermione, do not get a hermione halloween costume unless she wants to.
And never ever compare them, and tell the child how similar they are. That's how they start to hate their name. That's all I guess!! Oh, don't name him/her the full character's name. That's like an easy target for bullies.

Hello, the situation is familiar to me, as I'm also writer and was at the same point some years ago as you are now. I want to advise you to try Persona app, it is for Mac as you wish. It was relly the best app to plan and to
do my essays ever. The good one is Evernote. Evernote is a fantastic place for you to gather your ideas, research and notes.

One of the characters in my book has an abusive father. I don't know much about abuse so it's not easy to write. Ideas please.?
there are many types of abuse
i personally had an abusive father. if you want to know what its like there are tons of places where you can reasearch it. also any book dealing with things as that should have trigger warnings and hopefully a help hotline
from personal experience and experiences of people i know i can try to tough on this.
physical: imagine everytime someone raises their hand you flinch in fear because youre used to expect a blow to the face or body. its a lot of hiding and sneaking around when it comes to why you were late or absent from school. how you got those bruises. a lot of makeup use and clothes you can hide in. its a lot of begging and pleading and living with a fear you didnt even know was possible. it hurts you emotionally because its your parent. theyre much stronger. you feel hated. my father was an alcoholic so it was bottles kicked and thrown. pushing, hair pulling, the smell of alcohol, punches, smacks, being hurt with objects. some people have their children kneel on grits.
emotional: anything to belittle the person. insults. accusations. pure neglect.
this is a very dark topic and i suggest you research it so you know more. and about the signs
