Main PCB, where "PCB" stands for Printed Circuit Board. If this board is bad, the printer will not function properly and it will need to be changed. This is a job for a printer technician. You can call your local Office supply companies to find an authorized repair station that will give you a quote to fix it. If you are curious, you can look up the part on the Brother website or other printer parts companies that are on the internet and get a price on the part itself and if you feel competent to change the part yourself and maybe save some money. Be aware that changing this part is not for the faint-hearted. It might be cheaper just see if the printer is still under warranty. Good luck.

Try removing all the toner carts and remove the drum unit from the printer. Using the upholstery tool on your home vacuum cleaner, clean all over the drum unit being careful not to directly touch the drum surfaces (they scratch very easily causing permanent marks to print) also vacuum out the inside of the printer. It is likely that dust is preventing correct charge build on the drum. Also make sure the green slide tabs are placed back at the home position at the side of the drum unit. Re-assemble and test.

yes it is your fuser there is bulletin from brother on this issue. call them and see if they will cover it under warrentee

Open cartridge and then reset side white gear

You probably need to clean the paper pickup roller above the paper tray. A clean cloth dipped in diluted kitchen detergent and a couple of drops of alcohol, will clean the rubber rollers. Stroke the cleaning cloth firmly from side to side all the way around all the rollers. Also clean the paper separation shoe (rubber pad) at the front of the paper tray. The last thing is to make sure your paper is dry. Damp paper sticks together

Some printers have setting that as the toner cartridge is low will allow you to only print one. Check your toner...

Have you tried resetting it? I can't remember all the steps, I see some of the other comments have them but just to be sure you didn't miss anything I suggest you download the manual and go step-by-step. You can find one here - Brother HL-2270DW manual

just right click your printer icon in printer properties.it will pop out some options.in that options it will also pop out the offline option just click that offline option it will turn in to online option.if u find it hard just uninstall the printer drivers and reinstall it again from the printer driver installation cd.it will work properly.

Open the "Printers" window.
Click with the SECOND (usually the RIGHT) mouse-button on the printer.
Click to "go online" or "use online" or click to disable the "offline" status.

Hello, Open the start menu and click on the "printers and faxes" icon. This will open a window with the list of printers currently set up on your computers.

2. Double click on the icon of the printer you want to change to online. A pop-up window detailing all current print job will open.

3. Go to printer in the menu bar of the pop-up window and unchecked "use printer offline". This action will change the printer from offline to online mode.

printer becomes offline if it is turn off or the pc not recognized the printer.

solution: check the cable printer, transfer cable printer port to another port in your computer, if the problem still occurs re-install the printer driver.

I was getting the clean the corona wire problem message even after repeated cleanings.  Before this problem occured the toner light was flashing warning of low toner. When I got the clean the wire pop up the toner light was on all the time indicating the toner was depleated.  So, I thought I would try replacing the toner cartridge and see what happened. I opened the new toner box and noticed on the foil packege specific instructions to clean the corona wire when installing the new toner.  I installed the new toner and cleaned the wire one more time. I then reinstalled the drum and toner assembly into the printer and the clean the corona wire message did not come up again.  The printer now works fine.
