1988 mallard sprinter travel trailer electric heat, how do I use it

To use the electric heat on your 1988 Mallard Sprinter travel trailer, you will need to follow the instructions for your specific Duo Therm Brisk Air unit. Here are the general steps you can follow to use the electric heat:
  1. Set the thermostat: Set the thermostat to the desired temperature. The thermostat controls the electric heat and determines when it will turn on and off.
  2. Turn on the electric heat: The electric heat on your travel trailer is usually controlled by a switch or a button on the thermostat or on the unit itself. Turn on the electric heat by flipping the switch or pressing the button.
  3. Adjust the temperature: Use the thermostat to adjust the temperature as needed. The electric heat will turn on and off as needed to maintain the desired temperature.
  4. Turn off the electric heat: When you are finished using the electric heat, turn it off by flipping the switch or pressing the button.
If you are having difficulty using the electric heat or are unsure about how to operate your specific Duo Therm Brisk Air unit, you may want to refer to the owner's manual or contact the manufacturer for assistance. They will be able to provide you with specific instructions for your unit and help you troubleshoot any issues you may be experiencing.

Duo-therm Brisk air rv ac. With switch in any fan position the fan blows like it should. Move it to any of the ac positions and the fan switches to reverse direction. This cuts the air flow.

Disconnect ac from pwr source for few min and see if it reboots. If not the board or switches have issues. Even the harness wiring. U may need an rv tech or a repairbook

My duo therm brisk air is prewired for electric heat, how do I get them to blow warm air?

Four years you waited for someone to actually read your question. If it says it is "prewired for heat" that does not mean it has the heater installed, just that you can add a heater. After you install the heater, it will blow warm air. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZ2oGtkhka8&ab_channel=EdwardCzajka

1998 Duo-therm Brisk Air compressor not coming on. Smelled of burnt electrical when first happened. How do I check to see what the problem is?

Burnt smell is not a good sign. If your compressor is not turning and the clixon does not shut off power you will hear a humming sound and start smelling as unit burns it self up. Chances are your compressor has seized and needs to be replaced.

I have a 2013 Brisk air 1500 ducted A/C. The problem is after several hours of cooling the fan will shut off but the compressor will continue to run (humming) After shutting of unit at thermostat and

sounds like the fan over heat, you may want to check the fan relay and wiring for corrossion and capacitor as it may not be shorted but lower in value and making the fan over heat and triggering its build in safety cut off..

Why would a Dometic 13500 rv rooftop A/C runs fine when plugged in to normal power but when hooked up to a 4000 w gen.runs for a while then kicks breaker have tried on 2 different generators any ideas

Are both the test breakers the same size (15A or 20A, etc)? Perhaps the breaker in the RV has a lower amp rating then the other one you are testing it on? If that's the case your test doesn't really tell you anything, they both need to be the same size to know where the problem may be.

I have a Bonair evap aircon model VSL75 with the comfort controller and I want to reduce the water dumping cycle down. I have tried the manual but that sequence didn't work.

Here are the steps you might want to follow: Setting the Draining Cycle Times (Dump Interval): This setting controls how often the unit dumps the water. You can adjust this setting to reduce the frequency of water dumping. Setting the Drain off Delay Time (Dump Delay): This setting controls the delay time before the unit starts to dump the water after it has been turned off. If adjusting these settings doesn't work, there could be other issues with your unit. For example, a continuous water dumping problem could be due to a faulty dump valve or a problem with the float valve.

Why do you need to dismantle this? Some of these types of cooler do not have replaceable parts inside. They are usually classed as a "Throw away" machine. It is often easier and cheaper to replace it than repair it.
