Breville Cafe Roma , worked fine, stored for 2 yrs,
now it will not pump.
Powers on, heats up,
but when the switch is placed on water or steam setting,
no pumping sound at all,
perfectly sile
Just a guess, water is usually like oil (a lubricant) in your pump, so standing 2 years it's "dry" or there is no water being supplied or there is a screen or filter that is plugged.
Possible no power to pump, or an inline fuse or circuit breaker to the pump and heater has blown. Or a temperature safety sensor has disabled power to pump and heater. Owner's manual might help.
As I was juicing carrots, the motor just quit. It
Depends on how old it is. It could have bad brushes in the motor or it may have burned up. Do you smell burned insulation etc.? If it just quit there may be a problem with the switch or the cord. Wiggle things and replug etc. to see if that is the problem. Otherwise, you may need a voltage tester to check for power.
I have two breville coffee machines that have both developed little brown spots/ speckles across their surfaces that won’t clean off. Any ideas?
They sound like rust spots. Try this:
Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda in 2 cups of water.
Rub the baking soda solution on the rust stain using a toothbrush. ...
Rinse and wipe the spot with wet paper towel.
Or:
Mix equal amounts of lemon juice and baking soda to form a paste. For instance, you might choose to combine one tablespoon of lemon juice and one tablespoon of baking soda. Coat the rust with the paste, then use a damp sponge to scrub the rust away.[4]
If the rust remains after one application, let the paste sit on the rust for 15-30 minutes, then scrub it away with a damp sponge.
