Breville espresso not heating water

If the heating element in your espresso machine does not heat and your thermostat is working, then check the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse works to prevent overheating by blocking power from getting to the heating element and works with thermostat. If it fails to work, then it is best to replace your thermal fuse.

Top Burr Stuck on Smart Grinder Pro - How can i remove it ?

Safety Tip: To prevent any potential mishaps, ensure sure your grinder is fully off and unplugged before using it. Also, if you haven't used it in a while, make sure it's cool to the touch. Let the Bean Hopper open. Take off the bean hopper from your grinder's top. This is going to reveal the top burr. Take the Upper Burr Carrier Off: An upper burr carrier is usually used to hold the top burr in place. It is necessary to take out the upper burr carrier. Depending on the kind of your grinder, the precise procedure may change, but generally speaking, it entails undoing a few screws or tabs that secure it. In general, follow these steps: a. Check the upper burr carrier for any visible screws or tabs. Usually, they're close to the edges. b. To release the tabs or loosen the screws, use the proper equipment (usually a screwdriver). To prevent breaking the grinder, use gentleness. c. After the upper burr carrier is released from its locking mechanism, carefully pull or slide it out. Lift Out the Top Burr: The top burr can now be removed after the upper burr carrier has been taken out. The burr might be secured in place by tiny clips or notches, so proceed with caution and gentleness. Clean and Maintain: After removing the top burr, you can give the grinder and its parts a thorough cleaning. Make sure you adhere to the cleaning and maintenance guidelines provided by the manufacturer. This often entails cleaning the grinder's parts, brushing off coffee grinds, and correctly reassembling it. Reassemble: Carefully put the grinder's parts back together in the opposite order after cleaning. Verify that the upper burr carrier is correctly positioned and that all screws and tabs are firmly in place. Plug in and Test: After the grinder has been put back together, plug it in and make sure it is operating properly.

Hi, my 5 year old Breville ESP 8XL is leaking water under the unit

I am having a similar problem ( I say similar as I can't tell you what might yours be till you open the machine; if your warranty is over). Unplug and take the top off you will see the heating block and a bunch of electrical stuff (don't get overwhelmed, just don't touch it as your better safe than sorry). Now try and see if you can locate any cracks or calcium that show the water is leaking from. You will see two pipes coming off fitting on a black square block ( the pump) one is big and feeds the coffee water and the other steam. In my case the steam input is leaking, I had to run the machine to see it. Happened after a cleaning that should have been done months ago.... (I don't drink coffee often, but the Wife does and is lazy). So the way to fix is still in the works on my end. As you need a seal but not sure what I will use, maybe an rtv silicon (not sure that is food grade though and prefer not giving higher odds of Cancer to the better half).

My Breville BEC600 won't work. It still makes a noise as if it was working, but no water comes out.

They need dealer service every 6 to 9 months. They don't tell you this when you buy them.

How to check water pump breville

  • Breville is an Australian manufacturer. That said, the Breville support phone number is 1 (866) 273-8455.
  • You have not identified the model number of the Breville unit.
  • Have you followed the user guide care instructions?
  • What follows are some links addressing problems encountered with several models. I have no way of knowing if a water tube is clogged, a fuse is blown, or a solenoid or pump burnt out from what you have thus far indicated. It might need to be primed or a tube unclogged or a fuse replaced. But either the support from Breville or one of these links I am providing may give you a clue:

Breville touch espresso is making weak espresso. How can I adjust to make stronger coffee.

Most likely the bean is weak. It helps to increase the grade of grinding by the button on the top. If you put it to a finer grade, the coffee will taste stronger. However it can become a little sour.

Packing my Breville Cafe Roma away and wondering if their is an internal reservoir that should be drained. Please and thank you.

There is no need to. Just do 5 rinsings before you make coffee. Even if you remove all the water or not.
