Bosch Kitchen Ranges - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues
Bosch HGI8054UC warming drawer won't close completely
The slides require replacing. The functions part on the rear of either the right or left side has failed causing your drawer not to close. It cannot lock so the spring pushes it out. The part on the rear that locks it in, and ejects it out some how gets damaged. Need a T 20 star/torque bit to replace. The part number for the slides is 12024638. You can pull out the drawer but be careful of the rail that will stick out. Don't let the drawer land on your feet. If you don't order the parts yourself and install this, you may call the Bosch service to do such for you --though you have noted the expense.
What are the dimensions of a Bosch WFF 2001 washing machine please
Most domestic washing machines are built to a standard size regardless of manufacturer. So if a standard machine was removed this machine should fit. The standard height is 85cm and the width is 60cm. The depth can vary depending on the drum size. A bigger capacity machine will stick out further from under the counter top.
Bosch gas range no lower ignitor for bake no upper ignitor for broil display is fine no type of error code no other issue any recommendations?
It sounds like there is an issue with the ignition system of your Bosch gas range. The fact that the display is fine, and no error codes are being displayed, suggests that the problem is with the ignition system itself.
- The first thing to check is the ignition switch, it could be faulty and not sending power to the ignition system.
- Check the wiring, it could be loose or corroded preventing power to reach the ignition system.
- The next thing to check would be the spark module, which controls the spark that lights the gas. If the spark module is malfunctioning, it will not send a spark to the ignition system.
- Lastly, the oven and broiler igniters may be faulty and need to be replaced.
It's important to note that working with gas appliances can be dangerous, if you're not comfortable troubleshooting, it's best to contact a professional for repairs or contact Bosch customer service for further assistance. Request for a senior technician or supervisor to take a look at it and provide a resolution.

I have a bosch exact
Well i now have the answer to the bosch stove dilemmas if you have a glass touch panel on your bosch stove and you can't get the touch buttons to work right then check the circut board on the back of the glass it is cheaply held to the glass with a non hardening caulk and when your oven heats up the glass panel
the caulk gets so soft that the circut board and the caulk seperate causing inconsistent button operation. To solve this push the circut board and its frame back to the glass then get some aluminium tape at the building supply you shop at in the heating section and tape it into place so it can't seperate anymore then it should work for you. Make sure you have everything grounded properly. If you are concerned about the grounding you can use duct tape to be safe. ( there has been a lot of complaints about glass touch panel incosistentcies on more than one model so im 90% sure this will fix those too).

Bosch HGS5052uc Gas Range oven control panel
RETURNING WITH A FIX! In our case the issue was the adhesive that keeps the control panel in contact with the touch controls had given way after years of heat stress. I shimmed the control panel back in place (possible with some small pieces of metal, I used coins) and it is working fine again. We are having the same issue of the left side of the control panel not working. Unplugging resets the stove to the clock setting but I am unable to complete the clock setting without using the non functional side of the panel. I am thinking that it must be the control board but am puzzled that only half of the panel failed?
I have a Bosch HGI8056UC range that the stove in a bake mode it's not working. In broil mode working.
Near your Burner will likely be a metal heater that glows RED HOT next to the gas burner and when the heat is detected the gas is let go to light. A Safety and a way to light the gas. If you look it may glow slightly but needs to glow full bore to light. This is the most common failure. If you get a kit that has Wire Nuts be sure they are Ceramic Wire Nuts due to the heat or the plastic ones will melt off exposing the wires. Good Luck.
