How do I retrieve the starter bolt that fell in the starter hole
if it is an automatic, try removing the cover under the flywheel to get at the bolt
if such a cover is not available as in a manual I would go to a good auto tool shop and purchase a flex wand with a magnet on the end and try that
there may be a small hole with a rubber plug in it in the bell housing under the flywheel that may give you access as well
If nothing works after you have used a lot of imagination then you know what will have to be done --box out
Fuse blowing
See if this helps. Check an follow the wire from beginning to end? at every connection for cracks, Kinks, other wire touching at destination points. Place a continuity checker at the start of the sending unit to the end of the receiver, Wiggle, pull, on the wire at every section of it's schematic and see where? it faults. hope it help. If not then the problem is the sending unit sending to much current to the receiver.
My 1974 beetle oil light comes on when the engine is idling on an incline
first you need to determine whether it is a real low pressure or the sensor is lying to you idling just a slower speed oil pump is running so you can either replace oil pressure switch sensor and see if the problem goes away or you have to put in a pressure gauge to see the exact pressure the sensor is getting it could be a real or it could be the sensor is failing
Brake lights will not work
Check that you have power to the rear of vehicle and check to see if you have power at that brake light switch. If you do then you might check all your grounds.

How to replace K 40 relay on 97' mercedes E300D
Did you get this figured out? I bought a replacement relay, but my car's system looks different than the other posts. Namely, there was no replaceable relay in the plastic box (with 4 screws on the top) that contains the control boards, that is under the bonnet, on the right side of the car near the aft part of the engine bay.
