Usually three reasons

Condenser coils full of fluff.

Evaporator is a block of ice, normally caused by a failed defrost timer.

Low on refrigerant gas.

Vacuum the fluff from the condenser coils. If that and altering the dial doesn't fix it, you need a service engineer.

Vacuum out the condenser fins. If that doesn't fix it, you need a service engineer to visit. Either low on gas, or a faulty defrost thermostat has filled the evaporator fins with ice.

Check the control board for damaged capacitors causing the power supply to fail.

Try to unplug from the wall receptacle for 30 minutes and reconnect - basically like rebooting a computer board.

At 10 years of age, the freezer may be ready for replacement. Still, the orange indicator could mean simply that repair is needed.

check defrost fan motor if not working see if voltage to it if no voltage bad timer
