Gaicodon
Hello, What is this a **** site. NO, not really. I know what it is.
Gaydon (gaicodon) is a parish and village in Warwickshire, England, close to Leamington Spa. In the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 376. The village is at the junction of the B4100 and B4451 roads, a mile from Junction 12 of the M40 motorway, and is two miles north-east of Kineton.
Close by, on the site of former RAF V bomber base of RAF Gaydon, is the Jaguar Land Rover Gaydon Centre, one of the Jaguar Land Rover engineering centres (another being at the Whitley plant in Coventry) and the headquarters of Land Rover. Alongside is the
Heritage Motor Centre, home to the largest collection of historic British cars in the world, charting the history of the British car industry from the turn of the 20th century to the present day. Adjacent to the site is the headquarters of Aston Martin. GB...stewbison

My heat gun model hg1000k
Most heat guns have a cool down mode on them after you use it and it takes a bit of time to properly function if this time allotment was circumvented they tend to burn out their coils. The coil can be checked with a multimeter. Also you can check the trigger and power cord

You use both blades together.. On one blade is a (should be) a small metal knob sticking out from the side. On the other is a matching hole. Hold the blades crossed at 90 deg. Lock the knob into the hole on the other and slide blades parrallel, side by side. Both blades should now slip into the slots in handle and lock into place. They will not be exactly level with each other. One will stick out further.. Plug in power, and push run button.. Blades slide back and forth against each other, just hold sharp side against the meat, and push button.. Cuts like butter..
To remove for cleaning, there should be a small button near where the blades lock in, on the bottom (?) push to release blades.. for washing.
Which is the lightest metal that acts opposite to
It is not possible for any metal (or anything for that matter!) to act opposite to gravity.
Everything has a weight (effect of gravitational pull on a mass), and is pulled towards another mass (in this case Earth) but many things are ligher than air, so they will float away from the earth until the air becomes so thin that its boyant effect is no longer stronger than the gravitational effect, and the objet can rise no further.
Tips are corroding & disappearing
That is normal for a soldering gun especially if you are using acid core solder. I do a lot of soldering with rosin core & have to change the tip about every 6-8 months. Just get a couple of new tips. Rick

What kind of soder do i need
Sorry, this iron will not do the job. Yes the temp is higher than the solder, but once you touch it to the work, the heat is gone in Aluminim as it conducts heat at a very high rate. You need more wattage AND the upper heat level. A flame powered tool might be more appropriate. Contact Weller on their web site for recomendation
