Need manual for swan steam generater iron model s15040

you have probably solved this by now but
I just got the same model new
switch on instructions as follows
press and HOLD the POWER button for 3 seconds to switch the unit on
once temperature has been reached, press and HOLD the steam button on top of the iron for up to 20 seconds
this will prime the steam pump and only has to be done once for each ironing session
the pump noise will stop once it has been primed with water
hope this helps if still needed
if you need the user guide, let me know, I'll scan it for you

It is my first time using it, I brought it from USA and it is not working at all!!

follow this steps and fix it. God bless youIf the iron doesn't heat, make sure power is on to the outlet, check the electric cord and check the thermostat . If the iron heats but steams improperly, inspect the soleplate and clean the vents (see below) and flush sediment out of the steam chamber (see below). If the iron produces too much or too little heat, test the electrical cord . Also test and, if needed, adjust calibration of the thermostat If the iron does not spray properly, inspect and clean the nozzle If the iron leaks or spits, clean the steam vents, nozzle, and tank. If the iron sticks to fabric, clean or repair the soleplate. If the iron stains fabric, clean the soleplate, clean the tank with a commercial cleaner, and use distilled or filtered water.

I have a Swan S15040 steam generator iron, the

I had same issue , now , once you turn the unit on , you should see displayed 3 steam jets and the flashing standby , turn the dial on the iron to max ,press the steam button on the machine to max steam , leave for a minute or so , now press the steam button on the iron , does it make a noise ? if it does , slightly raise the whole front end of the unit ( easier if you have the iron on the worktop and not on the unit !) for a minute then try and press the steam button on the iron again . I think there is a bit of an issue about the conection between the water tank and the filter . This solved my issues and i do hope it will help you .

Steam button stuck

put some vinegar in your iron and swash it around. It will remove the calcium or lime that is making your button stuck. Be sure to run a lot of water through the iron after or your clothes will stink.
