Betty Crocker bcf1690 motor problem
Sounds to me that you may need a new drive belt. Not easy to find out of the country, but Moulinex (sp) products may work. Your drive belt needs to have treads on the inside of the belt. To gain access to the area where the belt goes, you must take out the baking section, including the actual pan. Remove screws on the bottom of the unit as well.
I have a Betty Crocker belgian waffle baker and I
2 eggs, 2 cups all purpose flour, 1/2 cup vegetable oil or 1/2 cup ( 1 stick) margarine or butter melted, 1 3/4 cups milk, 1 T. granulated or brown sugar, 4 tea. baking powder, 1/4 tea salt.
Heat waffle baker. Beat eggs with wire whisk or hand beater in medium bowl until fluffy. Beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth. Pour about 2/3 cup batter onto center of hot waffle baker. Bake about 5 minuted or until READY light goes off. Remove waffle carefully. About 3 1/2 cups batter.
Makes 10 4-inch Belgian waffle squares.
When the dough is kneeding, the pan unseats from
most of the time you will need a pan . the paddle berrings are freezing up and to keep the motor from burning up it is set up to pop the pan up .turn the paddle from underthe pan and from inside the pan it should turn real easy if not theres your problem
