read the user manual as the temp should be thermostat controlled were with gas there is always a pilot light burning when the oven is in use and when the set temp is reached the gas burner is shut off and when the temp fall below set point , the gas is turned on again and the pilot light starts the burner by using the timer , when the time is reached the gas is turned off and of course you will have to relight it if you do not have a user manual , download one from google or talk with a gas repair shop

Buzzing indicates a not so flat bottom.

Go to the circuit breaker location on your house and locate the one for the oven. Try flipping it on and off a couple of times. If the breaker only supplies 120 volts the heating elements won't work but the light and clock will. If resetting the circuit breaker fixes the problem, it will happen again, so replace the breaker to do a permanent fix.

An open element will have voltage present and still not operate. Use an ohm meter to test it.

Many reasons. The heater element may be shorted, the pump may be bound up stopping the motor or the motor itself has a problem.

If you have no other clue and you have no personal experience repairing a ranege cooker, call a repair service. Messing with cooker0s wiring might be dangerous.

Electric elements overheat when: 1.) The temp. sensor has failed 2.) The element is improperly grounded/shorted to ground... 3.) The knob is loose and not indicating the actual setting

Do you have a water supply hooked to it? Is the water turned on? If it is turned "on," but not flowing, did you install a one-directional supply hose backwards?
